Y'all probably don't care but I wanted to ask anyways. Would you guys be interested in knowing how I came up with story or how it was originally supposed to be?
Ever since Kotori was introduced to Ukai's meat buns, she craves them all the time. Towards the after noon-evening time she was super cranky and fussy. She'd cry, whine and stomp around all day. Both Mori and Oikawa were tired of her temper tantrums so Oikawa and Iwaizumi would keep her busy while Mori ran out and bought the meat buns. Simple task for three to complete.
She walked to the store in silence. "SA-MORI!" Someone called putting her name. Mori just continued walking instead of stopping for the person. The footsteps got louder as the person got closer. "Mori." A large hand grabbed her shoulder. "What the fu-" she turned around to face Kageyama. "Well why don't you look at this? Hey stalker." She chuckled to herself knowing he still concerned himself with her. "I'm not stalking you." He said with his cheeks flared up. "So what do you call this? While I'm in this area, you just so happened to be passing by and see me?" "What are you even doing here?" He asked to change the subject. "I'm doing something that seems so hard for many others to do. MINDING MY FUCKING BUSINESS! You should try it sometime. Besides what I do look like telling a stranger what I'm doing, we don't know each other." As she turned to walk away, he grabs her wrist. "And what might that be?" He questioned farther. "If you must know I'm going to Ukai's store. I got a cranky princess at home who's beyond pissed she can't have meat buns everyday, all day. Hopefully I can convince Ukai to throw in some extra ones just because she was such an angel when she saw him last time." He scowled at her. "Last time? HE SAW HER TOO?! So am I the only one who hasn't met the kid?" Mori's smug attitude quickly changed to a pissed one. "The kid? The fucking kid? She's you daughter for gods sakes and she has a goddamn name. Kotori, you idiot. You would've known that if you weren't such a dick. If you showed up to the carnival maybe you'd know her name at least and seen her but you didn't so who's fault is that?" She yanked her hand away from the boy. "Come on are you gonna keep giving me shit for that? I'm sorry okay, I'm an asshole and sad ass excuse for a man." Mori rolled her eyes and huffed at the boy. "Let me make this clear so we never have this conversation again. I'm not being the difficult one here, you are. I'm not that desperate girl anymore, I know my worth and I don't need you. If you don't want to be in her life, that's fine by me but you complaining about something you could've easily had by now isn't. Everyone but you were interested in meeting her so it's your fault that you haven't met her. You weren't there for the dozens of pregnancies tests, the doctor's appointments every month, first ultrasound. You didn't see our baby grow inside of me. You weren't there when her sex was revealed, the birth, her first night home, the day she could sit up on her own, started eating soft foods, first steps, first fucking word. She didn't exist to you and now you wanna bitch about it. Regardless of when I told you, you'd still deny she's yours. Kageyama you mean nothing to me or her so don't go trying to play the concerned dad now. You're literally the reason she doesn't know you. I did nothing to make you think that I would lie you and try to pin a child who clearly isn't yours on you. You're the one who make that shit up in your head. I didn't try to keep her away, you pushed her away." She again attempted to continue her walk to Ukai's store and again she was pulled back. "Why'd you call me that?" Mori stared at his face looking for any sign that he was just tryna get her angry again but he kinda looked hurt. "That's your name idiot." Mori mentally screamed at herself to softening her voice for him. "Why not Tobio?" She hates how easily he could change her mood by just doing little things like that. "We don't that anymore Kageyama. You're not Tobio to me and I'm not Saki to you. It isn't like back then, we aren't even friends." Mori didn't like it but she'd always leaned into his touch. She felt safe in his embrace. "I'm sorry I really am. Please Mori, give me time to fix myself and I promise I'll change." He stepped closer to her. "I can't keep waiting for you." He brought his hand out to cheeks to tilt her head to so their eyes would meet. "Please." He whispered before pressing his lips against hers. Mori felt weak letting him do this to her, making her feel like this again. She pulled away from the kiss. "I can't do this with you. I got a thing going on with another guy and I don't want mess that up with him." She felt bad for kissing him back while she was in a pending relationship with Kuroo. "I'm really trying Saki so please just give it some thought. I know you said you don't need me but I still want you. I need you in my life Saki." He said sounding sincere, just like he did when they were dating. "Im sorry but we can't be like that anymore." Was the last thing that was said before she rushed off to get the meat buns for her daughter.
Mori had a short conversation with Ukai before making her way back home to her family.
