Sarah Cullen POV

Two weeks in Chicago and I swear I love it here.
Well I sure love the people here.

Today I was off from work and so was mike so I thought we should go out today.

I was getting ready when my door opens.
"Mom is mike good?" He ask and I pause.

"Yes he is,why?" I ask
"I just want you to be happy I know how hard it was for you to lose dad and I would hate to see you like that again" he told me and I smile and walk to him "your so sweet and I am very happy" I say and hug him.

"Then it's time to be happy momma" he told me and walked out.
I sigh as I know he's right and I'm trying.

I walk to my jewelry box and open it.
I see my wedding rings and I pick them up and look at them closely.

'I love you SC' was engraved on my ring.

Paul got it done when we were in LA
I sigh and put them back.
"It's time to let go of you Paul and I love you I do but I can't hold on so I want you to know I'm trying with mike" I say and close the box.

I walk into my bathroom and get ready for my sixth date with mike.

I walk downstairs and spin around "what you guys think?" I ask posing for them.

"You look lovely" Esme said fixing my hair.
"Thanks mom" I tell her.
"Mike is gonna fall over and drop dead when he sees you" Alice said and I shake my head
"I hope he don't drop dead" I said and she frown.
"Sorry" she muttered and I shake my head "it's fine" I tell her
"Go have fun honey" dad said and I nod I look at Daniel and he sighs and gets up and walk over to me and I hug him tightly "oh god mom let go I'm to old for this now" he said when I start kissing all over his face.

"No your not but I will stop" I say and ruffle his hair and he run to the mirror and fix it.
"This is the merchandise mom all my ladies love it" he told me and I roll my eyes
"Ok Daniel" I say
"Mom i love you but don't touch the hair and have fun" he told me "ok" I say and he starts pushing me out the door and I laugh.

I finally walk on my own and get in my car.

I get to mike house and ring the doorbell.
He opens it and invite me inside and I look around "wow nice place" I tell him and he takes my coat and hang it up.
"Thanks and you look beautiful" he told me
"I know that red" I say and he shakes his head at me.

"Let's go" he said and I grab his hand and he leads me to the dinner table and I see a candle lit dinner.
"This is amazing and romantic" I say and kiss mike on his cheek.

"Well I tried" he said and I nod.
He pulls my chair out for me and I sit down and he push me back in.

We Stan a gentleman.

We sit and talk and eat dinner.
I'm gonna throw this all up later but it's fine.
"I want to tell you something and promise me not to run and leave" he said and I get confused but I find myself nodding.

I see his eyes and gasped "I'm a witch of some type I don't know much about my kind as my mom died when I was young but I can do this"

I look at his hand in amazement.
"Wow" I say
"Yea you won't leave will you?" He ask and I shake my head "no because I have a secret of my own" I say.

"I'm a vampire me and my family I have a hybrid son who is half vampire and half werewolf" I explain "wow that's wow" he said lost for words and laugh and I laugh to.

"How long you've been a vampire?" He ask me
"I think maybe three hundred years I don't know I lost count" I say and laugh
"I don't know if I should be dating a woman so much older then me" he joke and I throw some bread at him and he catch it in his mouth

"So can you do anything else?" I ask

"Yea but I might destroy my house if I do something" he said and I nod.

"So where does this leave us?" He ask
I get up and he watch me.
I then sit on his lap.
He holds my hips.
"Here" I say and kiss him on his lips
I swear I feel the fireworks again.
I feel all types of things right now.

I laugh into our kiss and take his shirt off.

Time skip

I'm laying on mike's chest as he sleeps.

I sigh and look at his sleeping face and smile.
