In a forest, near a fish pond was a house. That house was the home of the most powerful saiyan in the galaxy. The man with the blonde spiky hairy is a saiyan named Son Goku. Next to him was his half saiyan son, Son Gohan. The two were training to become stronger to beat the android, cell. The saiyan warrior was panting from the current spar that they just had.
Goku (panting): Huff.. Huff... Huff.... Man Gohan you sure do pack a punch!
Gohan smiled and nodded.
Gohan: Thanks dad. If something happens to you while your fighting cell, I'll be ready.
Goku nods his head. He then walks over to grab a bottle of water and takes a sip of it.
Goku: how about we stop training for now.
Gohan: Are you sure dad? I still want to continue training.
Goku only chuckles and puts his hand on his son.
Goku: Don't worry son, we still have two days until the Cell Games begin. I still can't believe you're so eager to train, I always thought you liked to study.
Gohan: well to be honest.... I don't like studying that much anymore. Ever since Trunks told me about his timeline and what happened to my future self encouraged me to get stronger. What if there's an enemy even stronger then Cell. I want to push myself to the limits and train like you and Vegeta. I want to become stronger so I can protect everything that I care about.
Goku grinned and patted the boy's head.
Goku: That's great that you want to do that and I will support all the way.
The young super saiyan smiled and nodded.
Gohan: Thanks dad.
They then hear a female's voice.
???: Boys! Lunch is done!
They turned their heads to see a woman with Japanese clothing, a bun on her head, an apron and a spatula. It was Gohan's mother, Chi-Chi.

Chi-Chi: boys, dinner is ready.
Goku: coming Chi-Chi, well you heard your mother. Let's go eat!
Gohan nodded and they both walked into their home.
