Episode 19- Day 1 (Part 1 & Part 2)

Veronica- We are all in the finals!!! YESSSS!!!

Previously On The Challenge... 

Bear and Veronica won the voting Daily Challenge. Bear picked Swaggy and Veronica picked Dee, to go into the elimination. The House voted in Rogan and Bayliegh to also go into the elimination. The players played the "Not So Bright" elimination and Bayliegh/Swaggy won. Therefore, Rogan and Dee got sent home. TJ announced that the last 8 players are in the Final. 

TJ- Its time for the Final.

The players enter the truck and drive to where the final is. When they arrive, TJ greets them and tells them about the first part of the finals (and explains the rules):

All 8 players will start by cycling and running a six mile loop 4 times (24 miles). There are 5 checkpoints that everyone needs to complete. The top 3 players that finish will form a tribunal. These 3 players will vote on 2 other players to compete against each other in a puzzle. The person that loses goes home; the person that wins stays in the final.  

Checkpoint 1: On Point: Stand behind the line and throw one ring on each point sticking out from a board.

Checkpoint 2: Pyramid Scheme: Complete a 5x5 grid puzzle so that each row and column has one of each color.

Checkpoint 3: Rampage: Push a ball to the top of a ramp and into a basket using a provided pole.

Checkpoint 4: Skulled Out: Complete a vertical puzzle to form a picture of a skull.

Checkpoint 5: So Rolled: Stand behind the line and roll a tire through a hole.

Everyone starts the final. Early on, Bear and Joe had the lead. While riding on her bike, Sierra falls off. Elena, Bayliegh, Swaggy C, and Nelson are in second place right now. Veronica is in third so far and Sierra is far behind. Bear reaches the first checkpoint. Bear throws his ring and misses. He throws the ring 3 more times and misses. Joe catches up and throws his ring. He makes it and starts to bike again. Eventually, everyone caught up to Bear. 

*Time Skip and Results:*

Placements after the First Leg: Joe, Bayliegh, Elena, Bear, Veronica, Swaggy, Sierra, and Nelson

Joe, Bayliegh, and Elena vote in Nelson and Veronica. 

Veronica beats Nelson in the puzzle. Nelson has been eliminated from the final.

It is time for the Second Leg...

TJ tells them about the Second part of the finals (and explains the rules):

Geography Trivia: Players are asked a series of multiple-choice geography trivia questions (all at one time). If they answer a question incorrectly, they would be eliminated from the Trivia Game. The last 3 players standing will form another tribunal and will pick 2 people to battle it out in a puzzle. The winner stays and the loser goes home. (By the way...If  you get a question wrong, you will be dropped into the water).

Question 2: Which Country would you be in if were visiting Mont Saint-Michel? France or Italy

People who answered Italy- Sierra, Veronica

*Sierra and Veronica have been eliminated* 

Question 3: Which Continent has the highest population in the World? North America or Asia

People who answered North America- Elena, Swaggy, Bayliegh

People who answered Asia- Joe

*Joe has been eliminated*

Placements after the Second Leg: Elena, Swaggy, Bayliegh, Joe, Veronica, Sierra, and Bear

Elena, Swaggy, and Bayliegh vote in Sierra and Veronica

Veronica beats Sierra in the puzzle. Sierra has been eliminated from the final.
