Chapter 5

The Ranch House
Georgie walks into the house nervously and Lou runs over to him.
"Honey where have you been?! Are you okay?" Lou asked, anxious.
"I was at Ty house," Georgie Said, nervously.
"Why were you at Ty's?" Lou asked.
"Because I felt so overwhelmed with what Tim was saying, so I needed to get away and Ty wasn't home," Georgie explained.
"Okay, are you feeling better now?" Lou asked, Softly.
"Yeah after talking to Ty," Georgie said, softly.
"You told Ty?" Lou asked, shocked.
"Yeah He was really understanding and said I had nothing to worry about cause if Jack was going to get rid of anyone it would have been him," Georgie explains half laughing.
"He has a point," Said Lou.
"Who has a point?" Jack asked.
"Uh Ty..." Georgie said, nervously.
"Oh what were you talking to him about?" Jack asked.
"Phoenix, He was limping," Georgie said.
"Oh, well maybe try messaging his legs," Jack suggested.
"Yep that's what Ty said," Georgie said, nervously.
"I'm sure," Jack Said.
He walks by and out the door.
"Did you just lie to grandpa!?" Lou asked, upset.
"I had too! I'm not ready to tell him!" Georgie said, defensively.
"He's your great-Grandpa, he's not going to be mad," Lou said.
"You don't know that! I want to feel ready Mom!" Georgie said, defensively.
"Okay, okay," Lou said with a sigh.
"So are we good?" Asked Georgie.
"Yeah," Lou said, agreeing.
"I'm going to go see Jade," Georgie said with a smile.
"Okay," Said Lou.
Georgie walks back out the door and to her car.

In Town
Jade walks out from Maggie's and over to Georgie.
"There you are," Jade said, happily.
"Yeah," Said Georgie distractedly.
"Are you okay babe?" Jade asked, Softly.
"Yeah... I just... Lou wants me to tell Jack about us and I'm scared too," Georgie said nervously.
"Oh well don't tell him when you're ready," Jade said, softly.
"It's not that simple Jade... He-he saw us kissing, I mean I played it off like it was nothing," Georgie said hesitantly.
"Was it nothing!?" Questioned Jade, hurt.
"No of course not baby! Bu-but I'm scared of how Jack will react if he finds out I'm with you," Georgie explains.
"Okay, I get it," Said Jade understandably.
"Thanks," Georgie said, softly.
"Not everyone in my family knows either," Jade admitted.
"They'll know when you're ready to tell them," Georgie said, softly.
Georgie and Jade smile at each other.
"How about instead of eating at Maggie's tonight we go on a real date?" Jade suggested.
"Yeah that sounds great!" Said Georgie with a smile.
"Good! Then I'll pick you up at seven tomorrow," Jade said, smiling.
Jade and Georgie hug.
"I love you," Said Georgie.
"I love you too," Said Jade.
Jade and Georgie slowly pull their hands apart as they walk to their cars.

The Ranch House
Georgie walks into the ranch house.
"Hey honey what did Jade say?" Lou asked.
"That we both need to take are time telling people," Georgie said.
Lou smiles.
"Did she say anything else?" Lou asked, being her nosy self.
"Yeah she said we should go on a real date," Said Georgie, happily.
"Oh when?" Lou asked.
"Tomorrow at seven," Said Georgie, happily.
"That's great sweetheart!" Lou said, happily.
"Thanks mom!" Georgie said, happily.
Georgie ran out of the kitchen and passed Jack up to her room excited. Jack watches her run up the stairs, and he then stands up and walks into the kitchen.
"Are Georgie and Jade dating?" Jack asked.
"What? No, no, why would you think that?" Lou asked as if she was clueless.
"Because I saw them kiss and Georgie just said she was going on a date with Jade. Now tell me the truth!" Jack said sternly.
"Yes they're dating...but grandpa she doesn't want you to know! She needs time," Lou said, nervously.
Jack sighs.
"Why doesn't she want me to know?" Jack asked.
"She thinks you will hate her..." Lou said softly.
"Why would I hate her?" Jack questioned at a loss.
"I don't know grandpa..." Lou said with a sigh
Tim walks into the house behind Jack
"I mean...this is weird...them together, I don't know if I like it," Jack Said, unsure.
"Grandpa! She's really happy with Jade!" Lou said, defensively.
"See I told you he'd be against it!" Tim said, annoyed.
"It's not that I'm against it! It's just weird and wrong!" Jack said, annoyed.
"Grandpa! Don't say that there is nothing wrong with Georgie!" Lou said, defensively.
Jack sighs and looks down.
"I need a minute," Jack Said.
Jack then walks out the door.

In Georgie's room
Georgie is laying in her bed as she hears Jack walk out the door. She picks up her headphones on. She then starts to play her music and starts to cry silently.

In the kitchen
Tim walks into the kitchen when Lou is sighing sadly
"I hope Georgie did hear any of that," Lou said worriedly.
Tim walks over and hugs Lou.
"I'm sure she didn't sweetheart," Tim said.
Tim then kisses Lou's Head.
