Chapter 8

Georgie walks out of the barn after putting Phoenix away. She walks onto the porch where Jack is sitting.
"Can we talk?" Asked Jack softly
"Georgie nods and walks over to Jack.
"Georgie I'm sorry, just because I don't understand is no reason for me to treat you any differently for that I am sorry, I'm glad you're happy," Said Jack apologetically.
Georgie lights up with joy.
"Really?" Asked Georgie.
"Of course," Said Jack softly.
Georgie hugs Jack.
"Thank you, Jack." Said Georgie overjoyed.
"Come on let's go eat dinner," Said Jack.
Georgie and Jack walk into the house, and they see Jade in the kitchen with Lou.
"Jade what are you doing here?" Georgie asked, surprised.
"I invited her, I mean your girlfriend should eat with us shouldn't she?" Said Lou
"Thank you mom!" Said Georgie smiling.
They all walk into the dining room and sit down to eat as a family.
"Jade on the Rodeo this weekend," Said Tim.
"That's great!" Said Lou.
"Yeah! I'm so excited!" Jade said with a huge smile.
"You'll do awesome babe!" Said Georgie supportively.
"Looks like you two will have a busy weekend because Georgie has her show on Sunday," Said Amy.
"That's right you do!" Said Lou happily.
"She so ready for her show!" Said Amy.
"That's great to hear!" Said Jack
"I can't wait to see you rock it!" Said Jade supportively.
Georgie kiss Jades cheek.
"I hope you're right," She Said with a smile.

The Next Day

The Rodeo
Jade is placed on the back of a bronco. There two cowboys standing beside her.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
Jade nods and they open the gate. The bronco comes flying bucking and bucking. Georgie is nervously watching in the stands.
"Come on Jade," Said Georgie.
The bronco bucks harder and harder trying is best to throw Jade, but she stays on for the full eight seconds.
Georgie jumps up from the stand.
"GO JADE!!" Yelled Georgie sportively.
The rest of the family stand up clapping and cheering for Jade.
Jade then stand up smiling and walks out of the area. Georgie and the rest of the family come running out to Jade.
Georgie runs over to Jade and wraps her arms around her in a loving hug.
"You did great baby!" Said Georgie lovingly.
"Thanks!" Said Jade,
Jade kisses Georgie.
Tim then places his hand on Jade's shoulder.
"You did great kid!" Said Tim, proudly.
"Thanks couch!" Said Jade giggling.

Georgie's Show
Georgie is galloping the jump course and makes the turn and picking up her strides to make jump three. She half halts and turns to jump four. After the landing she picks up her strides and around the in big loops before jumping five and has a straight shot to six.
"That was a 10.05 run with no hit! Sam Rider is in the lead." Said the show runner.
She then rides out the area and jumps off of Phoenix.
"I'll take Phoenix down," Said Amy.
Georgie hands Phoenix over to Amy and they walk away.
"You did amazing, girly!" Said Jade softly.
Georgie smiles at her.
"I'm glad you think so, I've been meaning to ask you something," Said Georgie nervously.
"What?" Jade said Suspense fully.
Georgie takes a deep breath.
"Will you go to prom with me?" Georgie asked nervously.
"I'd love to go to prom with you!" Said Jade happily.
"Then everyone will know we are together," Reminded Georgie.
"I'm fine with that if you are," Said Jade confidently.
"I am!" Said Georgie confident.
"I'm happy then I've ever been with you!" Said Georgie happily.
"Me too!" Said Jade happily.
Georgie kisses Jade.
"So when's the dance?" Jade asked.
"The 23rd," Said Georgie said.
"I can't wait!" Said Jade excited.
Jade and Georgie walk down to the trailer.
"I loaded Phoenix for you," Said Amy.
"Thanks Amy," Said Georgie with a smile.
Lou then walks over to Georgie and wraps her arm around her.
"So what did she say?" Asked Lou eagerly.
"She Said Yes!" Said Georgie excited.
Lou kisses her head.
"That's great sweetheart and you did amazing," Said Lou.
"Thanks mom," Said Georgie happily.
Lou and Georgie clime in the truck together and drive off to Heartland while everyone else follows.
