Chapter 2

2 Months Later

The rodeo grounds
Jade was thrown off a Bruno and it ran off. Tim runs out to Jade as fast as he can.
"Jade! Jade! Are you okay?" Tim asked, worried.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Said Jade starts to get up and Tim helps her.
They walk out of the arena and to the sidelines.
"What has been going on with you?" Tim asked worriedly.
"Nothing..." Jade said annoyed.
"Really!? Because you haven't been acting like you and you're not focused in the arena which isn't safe!" Tim stated.
Jade looks away saying nothing. Tim sighs knowing what he has to do.
"Jade I can't let you get hurt. You're done till you're back to being yourself," Said Tim.
"Fine..." Said Jade annoyed.
Tim walks back to his truck and Jade looks down sighing. She knows she can never tell Tim the truth.
"I need to go talk to Georgie," Said Jade under her breath.
Jade pulls out her car keys and goes to her car. She drives away to the heartland ranch.

At The Ranch
Georgie is brushing Phoenix in the barn when Jade shows up.
"Hey Jade," Said Georgie happily.
"Hey..." Said Jade sadly.
"Jade what's wrong?" Georgie asked, worried.
"Tim said I can't ride till I tell him what's going on with me," Said Jade, annoyed.
"Did you?" Georgie asked, scared.
"Of course not!" Said Jade quickly.
"Jade you can't stop riding because of me! I can't let you do that," Said Georgie protective.
"Do you really want them to know?" Jade asked, worried.

Next Day At The Rodeo Grounds
Jade parks her car and walks up to Tim nervously.
"Jade," Tim said, surprised.
"Hey," Jade said nervously.
"I wanted to talk to you about yesterday. It's not that you're a bad rider it that-" Tim started to explain before getting cut off by Jade.
"That I'm acting differently I know..." Said Jade nervously.
"I want to put you back on the circuit. I have to know your heads in the game first," Said Tim.
"I know it hasn't been lately. That's because I'm keeping something from you. It's nothing bad it's just..." Said Jade hesitantly.
She felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest. She was so scared to tell Tim the truth.
"I mean what if he never talks to me again!? What if he hates Georgie!?" Thought Jade terrified.
"It's just what? Jade you just said it isn't bad. What is it??" Asked Tim in suspense.

In Georgie's room
Georgie is pacing around her room nervously waiting for Jade to text her back with how it goes telling Tim that they're together when Lou suddenly walks in her room.
"Mom?" Georgie said surprised to see her.
"Georgie are you okay?" Lou asked, worried.
"Yeah," Georgie said quickly.
She sits down on her bed and Lou walks over to her.
"I heard what happened with Jade and I have to say she's not the only one who's been acting differently around here...." Lou said softly.
Georgie's heart was racing, and she was unsure of what to say.
"Georgie what's been going on with you lately?" Lou asked softly.
Georgie froze for a second unsure of what to say.
"What if she hates me!? I can't lose my family again!" Thought Georgie terrified.
"You have to promise not to be mad or disappointed in me." Said Georgie nervously.
"Georgie I could never be disappointed in you." Lou said softly.
"Okay here it goes..." Said Georgie with a deep breath.
