Chapter 27

It's finally break and WE ARE GOING HOME!!!

We get to go home for about 4 weeks.

We are all riding home in mine, well the girls are, and the others are riding with Finnick.

We drive for 6 hours and finally make it home.

I run up and hit the doorbell.

"COMING!" I hear my uncle yell and then hear a crashing on the stairs.

He finally opens the door.

"SWEETHEART!" Haymitch says giving me a hug.

I hear tripping down the stairs and then Prim comes running down the entry way.

"KATNISS!" She squels hugging me taking my breath away.

"Where's Aunt Effie?" I ask.

"Oh she's not here she went to town to grab something," Haymitch says.

"Ok well I have to take the girls to there houses so ill be back later,"

"Can I go with you!" Prim pleads knowing I can't say no.

"Sure," I say and walk back to my car.

"ANNIE! CLOVE! JOHANNA! GLIMMER!" Prim screams.

"PRIM!" they all scream mimicking her.

"Shut up," she says looking down embarrassed.

I drop them all off and them start the ride home.

"Katniss guess what?" Prim says.

"What?" I ask glancing over at her.

"I got a boy friend!" she says.

I slam down on the breaks and look over at her.

"What?" I say.

"I got a boyfriend," she says again.

I burst into sobs right then and there in the middle of the highway.

"Whhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyy!" I cry with my head on the steering wheel.

"I really like him Kat, I think you will too," she says patting my back.

"Who is he?" I ask mustering up enough courage to ask.

"Rory Hawthrone," she says.

I immediately pull out my phone and hit Gales contact.

I'm still sobbing when he answers.

"What's wrong?" he asks worried.

"Prim," I say bursting into sobs again.

"What about her?" he asks.

"She got her first boyfriend," I say crying.

"That's great who is he?" he asks.

"Your brother," I say crying more.

"RORY!" I hear Gale scream.

"What?" I hear Rory ask.

"Since when have you been dating Primrose?" He asks.

"Ummm....about a week ago," he says.

"It's ok Kat I'm not going to break them up but I'll tell him to keep his hands off her ok?" he asks worried.

"I guess," i mumble and hang up.

I look over at Prim and just look at her.

She's grown up so much.

Her hairs longer, her shirt is actually tucked in.

"Nnnnnnoooooo," I burst into sobs again.

"What's wrong?" she asks.

"Your shirt tail little duck," I say with teary eyes.

Srry guys I haven't been up to writing this book lately so ill update when I can.

I don't know if ill do a sequel it depends on what y'all want me to do.

I think it will need one😈
