As violently as you fought Jack dragged you like a ragdoll...

Literally.

As he hit the ground from you swinging your leg and released a muffled groan he grabbed your ankle and swung you back to himself, bar just chipping your ribcage. You let out the loudest scream of anguish as you thrashed against him; just trying to get some sort of high ground on him. He gripped your ankle tighter as he rose to his feet. A sound only an animal could make seemed to rumble out of his throat as he dragged you to the back of your house.

Your eyes darted around the floor to find something close enough to grab; as you fumbled around and broke your nails digging them into the floor the familiar feeling of wood graced your bleeding fingertips. Of course! The nail rigged 2x4's! You gripped the wood with all your might and swung at his leg. He froze and let out a scream as you ripped it out and swung again; digging the nails mercilessly into his calf. He let go of you to rip out the wood as you scrambled to your feet and grabbed a chair throwing it at him before cluttering your floor and grabbing Buddy who was frozen by the front door.

Glancing back you watched Jack fumbling with his leg still; when you turned your attention to the door you noticed a thick fog in front of it. Wait... It wasn't.... Oh no. You locked eyes with the beast outside of your house and inhaled. Your wooden savior wouldn't scathe the large abomination outside... The chairs tumbled and clanked to the floor as Jack limped towards you. Your heart pounded as you pulled your dog and your only form of protection closer.

You were cornered; that was obvious. You could feel the hot air of the beast outside trickle through the cracks and down your back as Jack approached. You set your dog between your legs and stood ready. If you were gonna die, at least you'd do it protecting your baby. "You got some nerve kid... You really think that's gonna stop me?" His ragged tone stung your ears like a thousand bees as he gripped the pipe closer to him and  leaned on it. Instead of blood; it was black ooze dripping and pooling on his pantleg.

"You dumb... Dumb little shit." You gripped the wood and growled softly. "You're gonna get it..." You snapped back. You narrowed your eyes and stood your ground. He seemed to grit his teeth and moved closer as you never moved. He smirked and swung the pipe at your stomach, nailing you. A hiss came from out of you before you charged and jammed the wood and nails deep into his side. "Get out of my house!" You roared and ripped it out, swinging again. He slammed the pipe down into your shoulder and grabbed a handful of your hair, yanking your head up as you pulled the nails back.

"Oh... You're gonna get it." He held your head in his fist as he shook you around and to the floor. He gripped your wrists and kneed you to the ground over and over until you fell over and started coughing up blood. Your vision grew hazy as he knelt down to your level. "Oh you stupid little brat... You really thought I was going to give up that easily." He laughed and held you down as you spit up blood. He kicked your weapon away and slammed your head into the kitchen floor. You could hear your dog ripping at his arm but he didn't flinch. "Game over." He mumbled and smashed your face into the floor again.

Tears dripped out of your eyes as your breath grew shallow. The room started spinning as your eyes fluttered shut. Defeat slowly overcoming you as he hit your head again. Blood sputtered from your mouth as you lost consciousness. You slipped away slowly, wondering if this was really it.
