Foreword

Yo! Thank you so much for checking out this story. If you want to just skip this part and get right into the story, feel free to do so. However, I hope you're willing to stay on this part to read my thoughts.

Pharmuria is an... interesting story, to say in the least. The idea for it came from one of those rare times where I become inspired from the most random things. I was having a conversation with a friend and all of the sudden thought, "hey, what if there was a secret underground city where ethical concern wasn't in place?". The rest is history.

To date, this is my first time really trying out a novella-style of work. You can definitely see that for my first attempt, it's not perfect, but it's definitely an improvement from some of my other works. I really tried to add a lot of cuteness in this story despite its dark elements, so I hope you'll find something to appreciate in this story whether it be the sinister parts, the soft parts, or both!

Also, in case you're wondering, the name 'Pharmuria' doesn't have any significance other than I wanted to do a bit of play-on-words with the term 'pharmacy'. I could've considered other names, but I think Pharmuria holds up the best. And if you want to ever talk about this story vocally, it's pronounced 'fahr - mer (as in mercenary) - ee - ah'.

As a quick disclaimer, all of my works are pre-written and finalized prior to posting. This means that by the time you see the first part, the story is already complete and revised. I prefer this method as opposed to the "post as you go along" method that some writers on here use because it's the best way for me to ensure the highest quality of content. With that said, as much as I genuinely appreciate any ideas or suggestions for future chapters, I won't be changing the plot or adding any chapters upon request because the story is already finished. If and when I rewrite the story (which is unlikely due to my overload of ideas but...), I'll be super happy to accept any feedback on how I can make the story better.
