Natalie POV

Six years later...

"Excuse me but I believe something is wrong. My name is Natalie Anderson not Natalie Martin" I said correcting some typos error.

The clerk glance at me and look at the monitor once again.

"Ma'am but it's right! That's the correct name register here!" She said to me.

"But I never submitted any legal papers acquainted with that last name ma'am!" I told her.

"Yes! But it appears here that you are married Miss!" She said again.

"What?????!!!!" I said shocked. That was shocking most of all.

It's been six years, I flee from that place and bow myself to never come back. That place breaks me not just my heart but my world too.

I tried to calm down myself and think, how did it end up my name is still the same when I already sign the divorce paper that he asked me.

"Then Ma'am how can I changed my name? I don't want to use that last name. That marriage was already broke long time ago!" I told her.

"Ma'am you need to give me papers that will back up your claim that you are already done with the marriage. Perhaps you can submit the divorce certificate!" She told me.

Fuck! How can I get the divorce certificate... Haizt!!!

"Thank you ma'am I will come back again!" I said then I can exited the room.

Currently I am in the claiming my licensed. Yes I am a licensed doctor, I already graduated and passed the exam. I bet my mom will be so proud that I able to achieve my dream. Although she sacrificed herself for me. That's the saddest part of my life, I lost my mom because of my stupidity.

Loving the wrong person caused my mom her life. And I will never forgive myself for that. I will be forever in this longitude of sadness.

I went to the hospital where I work. Yes I am working as doctor in a hospital, after I graduated I become an assistant doctor since I don't have my license back then but right now, after I finished passing the exam in snatched the top position the hospital committee offers me good position and I am not stupid enough to declined it.

I went to the Director's office and I went inside since a voice told me that it's ok to come in.

"Good morning Nate! Are you ready!" Mr . Brandon Salazar told me. He's a good friend of mine and he helps me a lot.

"There is a slight problem, it's about my name. I need to fix it so that I can claim my license i.d . Is it ok if I take a leave of work for one week?" I asked him

"Sure take your time. I will be waiting for you to come back. And plead hurry up, I am going to miss the most beautiful and kind girl I ever meet!" He said dramatically. I laughed at his response. Did I told you that he's a gay? Yes! That's why I am close to him cause he's a gay. After what happened to me six years ago, trusting men is hard for me ever since.

"So when are you going to leave?" He asked me

"Tomorrow, don't worry maybe it only take a few days. I just take the whole week since I wanted to make sure!" I said to him.

"If course let's go and I am super hungry!" He said as he wiggle his brows.

"If I know, you just want to see him again!" I teased him

"Can't blame me my boyfriend is super handsome!" Heheheh.. this gay

"Come on I am hungry too!" I said as I we walked towards the cafeteria.

Brandon boy is non other the chief cook of the hospital. They are living together but he can't just get enough of his boyfriend. Love!

Love! I almost forget how does it feel. After that day I promise that I will never fall for anyone. I shield my heart with stone or ice what is important is that I want to stay away from men. They are not good for my heart.

"So I heard that the sexy, handsome doctor Eros is courting you! Oh my God that guy is so yummy!" He said as I look at him in disgust.

"What??" He said at me in wide eyes.

"Brandy.. Not everything is about looks. Anyway I don't have plan to enter in relationship. I want to focus on my work for now!" I said to him

"Come on! That guy is so handsome plus he came from the rich family. His family own several pharmacies. He is jackpot!" He said grinning.

"Shout up! Just eat ok!" I told him

"Tell me bestie! What kind of guy do you like?? I mean I seen a lot of guys courting you but you never seem to get interested in them. So what kind of guy you want?" He asked me.

"Brandy... I told you I am not interested!" I said.

"But I bet you have type right?" He said trying to persuade me

"No!" I said

"Oh my God! Are you lesbian?" He asked me like he was shocked

"Of course not! I am straight for goodness sake!" I told him

"Then tell me what kind of guy you want!" He whine at me.

"Nothing Brandy... Can we just move on and stop mentioned about men" I told him

"Fine! Hey after your leave let's go to beach with my love!" He said smiling

"Brandy I don't have plan to be third wheel ok? And I don't want to witness your loving scenes together!" I said to him

"Oh my God? What kind of best friend are you?" He said to me shocked

"Privacy best friend... Privacy!" I told him while I giggle

"Hi is the seat available?" Eros asked all the sudden. I didn't noticed him in my side.

"Yeah!" Brandon answered for me. I glared at him.

"So, Natalie you look pretty today. But you always look pretty everyday!" Eros said like his mumbling

Brandon laughed since it's obvious that Eros is nervous.

After we done eating and we about to exit the cafeteria but a hand stop me

"Natalie can I invite you to dinner tonight? !" Eros said as he scratched his back neck.

"I'm sorry but I am busy!" I answered him

"How about the next day?" He asked me. His eyes full of hopes

"Maybe after I come back from my leave!" I told him

"Your leaving?" He asked me bewildered

"Yes only few days! I have some problems about name. I need to fix it!" I told him

"Oh I can help with that. My dad is a great lawyer!" He said to me.

"Thank you Eros but I will fix this on my own!" I answered him then I grab Brandon arms like dragging him since he can't stop laughing.

"Poor guy! You are such a heart breaker!"he said while still laughing. I just shake my head and didn't bother to answered him.
