Janessas POV
I can't believe I actually agreed to going to this party with Hailey. I love her but sometimes she can get really annoying. I really wish I never agreed to going to this party since there's probably gonna be so many couples making out, people getting drunk, and people getting high. Not to mention Matthew Espinosa and his group of really hot friends are gonna be there. I never actually talked to Matthew but people say he's the schools biggest player so I'm gonna stay away from him.
"Janessa hurry up and pick out an outfit we need to leave in an hour" Hailey yelled.
"Don't rush me! It's my first party of the year and I don't know what to wear so why don't you be a good friend and help me pick out an outfit?" I asked.
Hailey looked through my closet and said no to almost everything I own. I don't own a lot of revealing clothing and she knows that.
"How about this?" She asked holding up black high wasted jeans, a white crop top, and black heels.
"Don't you think that's a little too much? Whatever, just let me put it on"
I finished putting on my outfit and touched up my curls from earlier today. I added a little makeup but not too much.
"You look perfect! Boys are going to be all over you but let's go the party starts in 20 minutes and it's a 15 minute drive"
I spayed a little perfume and grabbed my phone off my nightstand. I'm really nervous but I don't want to tell Hailey that, she'll probably just call me a baby anyways. It's my first party of junior year so what can I say? I'm nervous to see Matthew because Hailey has been telling me that he keeps looking at me every time he walks by but I don't know why. He's never noticed me before so why now?
"Can you stop daydreaming and lighten up? I promise you tonight is gonna be fun" Hailey said.
"Whatever you do just please don't leave me, I really don't want to end up finding a ride home or having to call a cab like last time" I sighed.
"I promise, besides I want tonight to be our girls night so I promise I will be by your side the whole night" she said while smiling at me. I gulped nervously.
I can't wait to see what tonight has in store for me.
