Ch. 6

I opened the door and gasped. Matthew was standing there with a rose in his hand and was dressed in a black buttoned up shirt and khaki shorts. He looked so cute I couldn't take my eyes off him.

"You look beautiful, Janessa" he handed me the rose and looked at me while smiling.

"You clean up nice yourself, Espinosa" He smirked at me. I took the rose he gave me and brought it inside the house and placed it on the counter for when I got back. I walked back outside and made sure to lock the door before leaving. He wrapped his arm around my waist and led me to the passenger side of his vehicle, he opened the door for me.

"What a gentlemen" he just looked over at me and smiled before closing my door and running over to the drivers side. Before he backed out of my drive way he started playing "Groove" by his 2 good friends Jack and Jack.

"They're amazing singers" I told him.

"They are, they're gonna make it big someday"

"So where are we going?"

"I figured I would take you to the movies then after that we can get something to eat, does that sound alright?"

"Perfect." I said.

15 minutes later we pulled up into the movie theater. Matt decided to be a gentleman and open my door for me. I don't know what's gotten into him but I like it, I like it a lot.

"What movie are we seeing?" I asked.

"Taken 3"

"I'm really looking forward to it, I loved the first and second one!"

We walked into the theater and I got the tickets while Matt got the snacks. After I got the tickets I walked in line and joined Matt. We ended up getting 2 blue slushy's and a box of Skittles and Sour Patch. After we finished getting the snacks we walked into the theater and ended up sitting all the way in the back.

"I'm really happy you came with me" he smiled really big.

"I'm glad you asked me to come, I'm really looking forward to watching this movie"

"I don't know if I told you this already but you look beautiful tonight." I put my head down to hide my rosy cheeks, I didn't want him to see me blushing. He caught me off guard by lifting up my chin and looking right at me

"Don't hide that beautiful smile of yours." All of a sudden we both caught ourselfs leaning in towards each other. Was I really gonna kiss Matthew Espinosa? His lips looked so soft I couldn't resist myself by leaning in even faster, but of course it got ruined when the lights dimmed.

"Damn, maybe next time" he winked. He makes me get butterflies, I didn't think the first time I got butterflies would be by Matt. He was such a arrogant asshole when I first met him and now I'm seeing his real side. I can't believe I'm actually saying this but I wish we could of kissed. Half way through the movie I felt Matt move his hand onto my thigh, I don't know why but I started playing with his fingers. Damn, his hands were soft.

After the movie was done we waited for the movie theater to clear out before we got up and left.

"So, how'd you like the movie?" He asked.

"I loved it so much! Thank you so much for taking me this night has been amazing so far" I smiled up at him.

"I'm glad you feel that way Janessa, want to go eat now? I figured maybe Taco Bell or McDonald"

"Oooo lets get Mcdonalds"

"Good choice" he said while smirking.

We stopped at the bathrooms before we left because we both really had to go. After i was done doing my business I washed my hands and walked out to find Matt waiting for me outside the doors. He caught me off guard for the second time tonight when he decided to grab my hand and intertwine our fingers. I looked down at my hands then back up at Matt and smiled. I never seen this side of him and I'm really glad I got to tonight. I really do think I'm starting to like him but I don't want to get hurt, I heard he mesed with a lot of girls feelings but people change, right?
