It was different here not worse but not better just not the same. I don't have words to explain how I felt except empty. My love for my mother had been replaced by sorrow which was soon replaced with emptiness. The truth was I didn't know how to feel. "We're here" Jane said softly she lowered her voice even more "you ready?" "Yeah" I mumbled in response. I wasn't lying I was about as ready as I'll ever be which goes to say not very ready but I had no choice. I jumped out of her car and looked at the house it was painted a vibrant yellow color but was peeling to reveal the pale pretty blue color that must've been painted over. The house is huge which wasn't odd being they have ten boys.
I grabbed my bags there weren't many and we walked inside. She spoke in to a intercom and told all the boys to come down. "Introduce yourself boys"
"I'm Jordan"and "I'm Jack" two of the younger boys said
"Hey babe I'm Jake but you can call me sometime" 2minutes and I was already fed up with him.
" sorry my brothers so immature I'm James"
"Cameron" one of the boys said coldly
"Cameron don't be rude" Jane exclaimed
"Whatever" he responded sounding miserable
"I'm Jason I'm very glad you'll be staying with us" he looked so much like a character from a movie dry paint on his body and clothes and various paintbrushes in his pocket
" I'm Joey the cool twin" the other said with a chuckle
" I'm Charlie the cutest one" the youngest screeched pulling at my shirt he was small even for an eight year old reaching barely above my waist
"And what's your name?" I asked the boy who remained silent.
He didn't answer he looked nervous I could tell he was getting upset. Tears brimmed his pale blue eyes I was confused. He ran upstairs "his names Blake" Jane answered. I immediately felt regret and remembered he hasn't spoken. "Cameron why don't you take her bags and show her to her room" "but-" he started but was interrupted "no buts" the walk was silent for awhile " my brothers very important to me" he said "he hasn't said a  word not one since they died and you upset him" "I'm sorry" "you should be" we arrived and he stopped "don't ever hurt him again" he walked down the hall great I already have 2 enemies I thought to myself. I walked into my room it was huge I had my own shower and a walk in closet the whole room was a blue and white theme. I took a long hot shower and went to sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day.
