It was past lunch hour when the secretary showed my desk. I just pushed today's events out of my mind and wanted to be happy for the rest of the day. I was basically working for the company's Information security department. I had to report to Mr. Victor Morgan and Mr. Dakota Lee.

"I just hope my two bosses aren't an ass as Mr. Bourbon" said Mila aloud to herself.

" The name is Mr. Blackbourne and he isn't as bad as you think Mila" said Kota.

" Huh! Am sorry did I say that loud?" asked a frightened Mila.

Both Victor and Kota chuckled and nodded as an yes.

" So, Mila welcome to our team. I know we didn't start off on good terms but I hope we get along together" says Victor flashing a bright smile.

" Mila you will be incharge of the information security of few of the departments. In case of any suspicious activity or any sudden glitches you are to inform us immediately" says Kota.

" And by the way here is the company phone. We have installed a tracking app and also an app you can contact us in case you are in emergency" finishes Victor.

"Do all the employees have the app" enquired the curious Mila.

" No, not all have the app. We have installed it in your phone since you are working for us. The app to be installed in the employees phone is left to #the higher manager" says Kota.

"We want our team members to be safe and reachable at all times, we take care of what's ours" says Victor.

The last words make Mila blush like a beet.

Mila started working and once the clock logged 6 she made out for the day.

Once, Mila reched home she saw Lauren is a s###ad mood.

" Hey, what's up?? Why are you sad Lau? Did anyone say anything at office"?? asked the concerned Mila.

" No Mils it's nothing just though about our past and felt bad"

" Lau we moved out so that our past doesn't keep up with us right. I think you should stop thinking about it and start afresh".

"So, what's up Becca?? What are you doing?? asks Victor as he walks into their house.

Becca is sitting on a sofa and watching TV. As soon as her eyes lands on Victor, she gives a bright smile and goes to hug him.

" Oh nothing just watching some cookery show"

" Victor it's been a while that am stuck at home can we got for dinner" asks Becca.

" Hmmm, not a bad idea. But all of them are busy at the moment why don't we go for breakfast tomorrow morning" adds Victor.

" Yes!! Then breakfast it is" says a happy Becca.

Next day morning the Blackbourne team come for breakfast at Harry's which is pretty far from their home.

Unknown to them Mila and Lauren also end up at the same restaurant since it was a Saturday morning.

Mila excuses herself to use the washroom. When she has finished her business and was about to come out she hears a woman scream a whisper.

" Don't you mess up anything this time. I will not be gracious as last time and kill you on the spot. Find out where the hell he is and kill him" says the voice

Mila froze at the door and didn't even breath as she was so scared. She peeped outside and saw the back of the retreating figure go outside. She memorized the lady's outfit and her hair color.

Once outside she confined in Lauren what she heard in the washroom. Both the girls searched for the women and then they saw her sitting inside a car and got a glimpse of her.

It's a Monday morning and when Mila comes to the office everyone are in chaos. She has no idea as to what happened and goes to find her bosses who are furiously working on the computer. Victor and Kota have a grave expression on them. Just the. Owen, Nathan and Sean also barge in.

" What the hell is happening Victor and Kota?" demands a furious Owen.

" Well someone hacked into our finance department and are trying to steal the information and we are working on stopping them but it's getting really difficult since the hackers are pretty good at dodging us" says a tired Victor.

Victor and Kota have been up all night and working on fortifying the system but in vain.

" Victor and Kota Sir can I help you guys I-" Mila says and was cut by Owen

" Ms. Peterson can you not be nosy now and allow them to do their work. You are still an intern and hope you don't forget that" barks Owen

" With all due respect "Mr. Bourbon" I am not talking to you I am asking my immediate senior's and also do not judge someone by their position or looks" shouts a irked Mila.

"MILA I will give you a chance and if it doesn't work you will listen to whatever I say without giving me back answer" shouts Owen.

"FINE" says Mila through gritted teeth.

Victor and Kota give her place to work on the system.

Mila furiously works on the algorithm that she had written in freezing off the attack from the hackers. It took her a good 9 hours in completely blocking off the hackers and securing the system and running it up again without any glitch.

Victor and Kota double check for any intrusion and once they are happy that everything is normal they ask Mila to stay and go find Owen to tell him the good news.

" Mr. Blackbourne the systems are secured and running. Thanks to Mila for her timely intervention" says Kota.

" I think you need to apologise to Mila for your early behaviour" says Sean.

" What?? I and apologizing to an intern huh!! never. I just think she got lucky this time" says a visibly irritated Owen.

Since it was getting too late Mila came to find her bosses to say that she wanted to go home. She heard everything that Owen said and her blood boiled. She just barges in and shots at Owen.

" Mr. Blackbourne I think thats not lucky it's my hard work there that has secured your god damn system and protected your arse from losing your empire. Just a thank you would have sufficed I was not wanting your apology" says an enraged Mila and stomps out of the cabin with hot tears from her eyes.

Victor runs behind her and spins her towards him. Mila lands on his chest and breaks down. Victor comforts her, stroking her hair and wipes her tears. Mila calms down and starts to sniff.

Victor moves her head to see him and holds her close to him by her waist. He looks at her face which is red from crying and she looks so vulnerable at this pont.

" Mila am very very proud of you and thank you so much" says Victor and something tugs in his heart before he knows what's happening his lips land on hers. First it was slow and soft but later it grew deep and intense. They pull apart with Mila gasping for much needed air.

" Where's my kiss??" she hears another voice and suddenly she is spined around and lands on a hard chest which is Kotas.

He holds her thick lustrous hair pulls it a little and crashes his lips on her already bruised plump lips. He is fast, needy and rough. He tugs her hair more to gain more access all the while squeezing her waits which will definitely bear his finger marks by morning. He lets go of her after a long deep kiss.

"That was one hell of a kiss" says Victor while grinning.
