By the Lake

DRACO MALFOY POV:
I got on my broom quickly and right when she almost touched the ground I caught her. And sat her on the broom with me. Behind me. "Granger don't do that!" She was still closing her eyes and trying to hold on to the broom. "I hate flying" she said. "In that case hold on" I say hoping to make her mad. She grabs onto my waist tightly and I miss her touch. "Draco please-" that's the first time she calls me by my real name. "Don't worry Hermione Granger. You're safe with me. I just want to show you something." I relaxed and forgave Hermione. "Draco I need to tell you something" she says. "Save it" I say and we fly down. "BLOODY HELL!" She yells and it's funny and cute. "You're okay" I laugh. She hits my head playfully. "Shut up Malfoy. Don't be rude. I hate this I hate this I hate this" she says and I silently laugh. Not wanting to get hit in the head again.

We fly closely to the big lake and I slow down over the water. "Touch it" I say and she slowly takes one hand off of me and touches the water making riffles in it. "It's amazing!" She says and she falls into the water. I laugh so much and she gets red. "Come pick me up now!" She says smiling a bit. I get on dry land and get off the broom putting it under the tree's shade. I take off my shirt and reveal my stomach. And at that time I see her. The sun was shining right at her. Her eyes glistened in the light and her hair wet. Her face glowing. I blushed.

HERMIONE GRANGER POV:
I saw his abs as he took his shirt off and I felt myself get red. Suddenly he isn't on land anymore. I feel hands on my waist from under the water and I start to panic when Draco picks me up and holds me close. "You scared me" "good" he says and I smack him in the head again. "Hey at least you didn't punch me this time?" He says smirking. I laugh and he sets me down in the water. That's when I splash water in his face.

"Oh it's on" He says and starts to splash water all over me and I am now soaking wet. "Stop Stop Stop!" I yell.

DRACO MALFOY POV:
I stopped and I though I did something wrong. "What happened?" I asked. She coughed a few times and jumped on my back and we fell into the water together. I got up from out of the water and Granger was laughing. "You little-" "you better not finish that sentence Draco Malfoy" She said and I shut my mouth. She smiled at me and she just looked so innocent and precious. "My clothes are soaking wet!" She laughed. And I laughed too. "Come" I said and we both got out of the water. She was shivering from the cold lake. "Wear my shirt" I said and she smiled. "Thank you Draco" I turned around and she took off her shirt and put my green and black shirt on. "It's long!" She laughed and I turned back around seeing her in my long shirt. We both sat down on the grass. "What did you have to tell me Granger?"

"I- I do like you... I think." She said and looked up into the sky. We both lay on our backs looking up at the clouds. "Really?" I say and she nods. "I like you too Granger but... Pansy kissed me last night and I-" "excuse me what!" She Yelled sitting up. "I was mad in the common room and she just kissed me without even saying anything" I said. "It didn't mean anything but I wanted to let you know and-" she cut me off "really Malfoy?" She says and I feel bad but also upset with her. "You rejected me in the first place! When all I do is try to help you and save you from your crazy ex boyfriend who was fucking abusive to you. That was not okay and I ju-" And right at that minute I felt her lips on mine. So soft still wet from the water. It was passionate. I loved the feeling.

"I'm sorry" she said. "I'm sorry I hurt you. Ron was always saying of how bad you were and now I see the exact oposite of what he said." She says. "I only open up to people I trust and care for. Which isn't many people. My father wasn't really nice to me and my mother is a bit distant with me ever since 7th year. You and Blaise are the only ones I have left" I say and I feel like crying. "No matter what Draco, I will always be here for you. Always and Forever" She said cupping my cheek. She somehow noticed my eyes got watery. "Let it out" she said in a soft voice. "Let it out" she said again softer. She crawled next to me and hugged me tightly and I started to feel the water come out of my eyes when she started to pat my back. "It's okay to cry Draco. Even if you like to be tough and all it's good to cry and show your true self" she said whispering into me ear.

HERMIONE GRANGER POV:
I felt his warm tear drops fall on my shoulder. He was crying... silently. I don't know how he could do it you know... his parents pushing him... he had been forced to be on the dark side, forced to be who he wasn't. I let go of him. And he wiped his tears. "Sorry" He said and I was confused. "For what?" I ask. "For crying. I'm not supposed to be crying" He says. "What the hell Draco! I'm not your mom. Of corse you can cry. Don't apologize for your feelings. Come. We should go back. They will notice we are gone." I put my hand out and Draco grabbed it and stood up. "Oh great. Here we go with the flying again" I say and he smiled

Back Outside of the Castle.

I had to do something. I had to. We were right over the quidditch yard hovering over hogwarts. I just had to do it. I kissed him. Right in mid air. I turned him around and kissed him. On the lips and he smiled into the kiss.

"Granger!? Malfoy!?" Said a voice and we looked down to see...
