It was nearing sunrise and Rozu still had yet to fall asleep, despite how exhausted she was. She had just been sitting on the floor, leaning against her bed, for over an hour, her mind overflowing with thoughts of what had just happened.

Was she really going on a date with a villain? Was it a date? Himiko had said "it's a date" but sometimes people just say that.

She finally tried to lay in her bed, only for something to poke her from the pocket of Himiko's sweater. A knife? she thought, concerned. But when she reached her hand in, it was definitely not a knife.

It was the box Rozu had just gotten from her father.

She hadn't even noticed it was missing.

Himiko had picked it up for her?

She checked inside and sighed with relief.

The necklace was still there.

It was a heart with a sapphire in it. Her birthstone, but also her late mother's. Her dad, technically her stepfather, had given it to her mother for their first anniversary. When she died, she told him she wanted Rosalie to have it when she turned seventeen, which she just had.
The box itself had belonged to her mother since she was young, and it had an ornate golden pattern covering its black surface.

There was also a note in the box, which hadn't been there before.

Rosalie smiled at the page, wondering why Himiko was so nice to her

Rosalie smiled at the page, wondering why Himiko was so nice to her. What happened to her obsession with Izuku?

Soothed by the note and lack of a box in the soft sweater, Rozu finally fell asleep.

She was awakened by a rhythmic knocking at her door.

"Nomura! Mr. Aizawa would like to see you!" Iida called through the door, still knocking.

Rosalie opened the door, still groggy.

"What? What time is it?"

"Three o'clock!"

"Geez, how long did I sleep?" she asked herself aloud.

"Mr. Aizawa instructed me to bring you to meet him in Recovery Girl's office!" Iida explained.

Right. The burn.

She followed Iida down to where Aizawa and Recover Girl were waiting for her.

"It's not too bad," RG said once Rozu was on the bed, "but I'm surprised you didn't feel more pain from it. I mean, I would have thought you wouldn't be able to sleep." Rosalie thought about how she usually dealt with pain, which was by isolating it mentally and then focusing on something else. But how did that work when she was falling asleep? She hadn't even remembered to put bandages around it.

Before she had time to think any more about it, RG had healed it.

When she looked up, Recovery Girl and Aizawa were whispering to each other.
