Friends and "Families"

"Let's do something fun!" Himiko said, pulling Rosalie to a standing position. "Look, there's a cart selling stuff over there!"

The girls walked over to the cart, which was selling lots of different styles of sunglasses.

"Look, Rozy!" Himiko was wearing pink heart sunglasses with the tag still hanging off.

So cute! Rosalie thought. She pulled out her wallet and paid for them, Himiko looking on in shock.

"Why did you buy them for me?"

"You looked cute, and I had money."

"Aw! I couldn't have bought them for myself, anyways. I'm saving up for something..."

Rosalie started to consider what it might be, but her attention turned to a group walking in the distance: Izuku, Tsu, Uraraka, Iida, and Shoto.

"Himiko, hide."

"What? Oh, Izuku! And Tsu and Ochaco!"

"Himiko!"

"Aw, but they're my friends!"

"Not everyone sees friends the same way you do!"

"Rozu?" Shoto asked from behind her.

"Ah! Shoto! Hi!"

"Rozu, who's this?" Uraraka asked. "She looks familiar."

"Oh, I get that a lot!" Himiko said, and Rosalie was relieved she didn't just tell them the truth.

"What are you guys doing here?" Rozu asked her friends.

"Well, Uraraka thought I needed a break from training, and then we ended up bringing the whole group!" Izuku explained.

"Oh! Fun!"

"What about you? Do you not have duties as our teacher's assistant to attend to?" Iida asked accusatorially.

"I probably would if Aizawa was a normal teacher and prepared for his classes."

"Wait! Are you guys on a date?!" Uraraka asked.

"Oh. Um..." She hadn't planned on telling all of her friends about this just yet... especially considering, you know...

"Yep! But it's a secret, so you can't tell the rest of your class, kay?" Himiko answered, saving her.

"Why's that?" Tsu asked, punctuating the question with a ribbit.

"It's a long story! I'm sure we'll be able to tell you at some point!" Himiko quickly answered again.

Tsu looked concerned, Uraraka looked somewhat concerned and excited, Iida and Izuku looked confused, and Shoto was staring off into space, as usual.

Rozu felt horrible keeping secrets from her friends, but her overwhelming emotion at that moment was fear. Fear that her friends would discover the truth and end her friendships with them, as well as possibly her just-starting relationship with Himiko. She knew her hair must be purple.

"See ya later, Rozu!" Uraraka said as the group headed off.

"I'm sorry," Rosalie said immediately, feeling bad for hiding someone she cared about. The pair started walking down a path while they talked.

"It's okay! I get it, I did sort of attack them..." Rozu noticed that was the first time Himiko acknowledged that she didn't behave appropriately towards the students. "I did help with the Yakuza thing, though!"

"Yeah, I heard you and Twice were in some sort of temp squad for the Hassaikai."

"No, I mean I helped Izuku and Tsu and Ochaco and the little girl!"
