Chapter XXVIII

In their blinded state, the riches and the royalties dance the night away, they were completely blind from what was bound to happen tonight as the sky rumbled, it poured down it's heavy, rough rain and yet it was not heard from inside of the castle since all they could hear was their own laughter in which it will be their last.

"wonderful...everything is going as planned"

Taehyung thought as he felt the crown on top of his head was quite heavy and yet comfortable to wear for the time being, He took his time walking around the castle halls, Taehyung felt the satisfaction when he saw the portraits that were hung against the wall of old kings and queens and soon his portrait will be there by tomorrow.

"....I wonder where my fiance went?" Taehyung asks himself as he started to wonder the whereabouts of his run away fiance but he couldn't care-less since this is what he wanted from the start. "I'm right here", Taehyung spread a wicked smile, He turn around and face his fiance.

"Where were you?...I was worried" Taehyung said as he walked towards Jimin circulating him, Jimin clench his fist. "please take me back Taehyung....I made a mistake! so please forgive me" Jimin begged on his knees as he grips on Taehyung's sleeves, He scoff and knelt down, Taehyung lifted his chin. "are you really sorry?" He said tilting his head to the side, Taehyung doubted Jimin's loyalty ever since He met him.

Taehyung knew Jimin would be a useful tool for him but he never thought Jimin would betray him by helping the person he wants to claim to escape from his grasp, He click his tongue and slaps him across his cheeks, Jimin felt the burning sensation from his cheeks, Jimin trembled when Taehyung started to stroke his red cheek.

"I-I'm sorry...forgive me...my King..."

Taehyung spreads a wicked smile as he roughly placed his lips against Jimin who was shocked by how forceful Taehyung was, Jimin tried to gasp for air but the way Taehyung's hand grips on his hair and the way he shove his tongue inside his mouth made it look like he wanted Jimin to die in suffocation from his intoxicating kiss.

"mhmp!..m-my...K-KING!..." Jimin was able to pull away from the kiss and instead of Taehyung helping him, He laugh at Jimin's pathetic self.

He had to keep acting and if he didn't, Taehyung will notice the chaos that is currently happening right now, That's when one of the Royal guards came running towards the king.

"MY KING! THE HUMANS!!! THEY HAVE ENTERED THE CASTLE!!!!"

He exclaimed, Taehyung flinch and gritted his teeth, "then kill them!" He said glaring at the royal guard, the Royal guard flinch and held his head down.

".....My King....the humans....are being led by a demon....and they have already killed most of the guests"

Upon hearing this, the King became furious as he shoved the royal guard for being pathetic and useless, Jimin grins, He watch him loose control due to frustration as Taehyung called out every guard to defend the castle. "sorry not sorry babe...".

"ah fuck me....."

Yoongi stop on his tracks, "I forgot which way....." He said clicking his tongue, Yoongi sigh and look behind him to see Seokjin trying to enter the other path, "....I feel like this one is the way out" Seokjin said, He was unsure about it, Jungkook then held his hand causing Seokjin to blush, "let's go together?" He said gently smiling at his lover, Seokjin nodded.

"okay"

Yoongi then entered first as the two followed him from behind, the only light that guided them was Yoongi's lamp and it seems that the path is taking them deeper which worries Seokjin the most since he could hear the screams from above knowing that the protest turns out to be a battle between humans and demons.

"...Seokjin."

"yeah?"

Yoongi holted causing a confusion on both Jungkook and Seokjin, "...leave the country...and please take Soobin with you...his back at the mansion safe and sound...but I know the consequences if Soobin stays with me...he will only get hurt...take him with you...keep him safe...away from here..." Yoongi said with his back facing them, He had to make a tough choice even though Soobin was like a brother to him but he have to let him go for his own safety, Seokjin was left speechless but the responsibility Yoongi put on his shoulder means everything to Yoongi, "...We will Yoongi" Seokjin said causing Yoongi to sigh in relief.

"thank you..."

Yoongi immediately turn his head to the right. He felt a sudden breeze and the sound of the wind made him run towards that direction, Jungkook felt it too, He then grabs Seokjin by his wrist, Yoongi found himself staring at a rusted metal door, "...this is it.....", Yoongi opens the door hearing it creak when all of a sudden it fell on the ground, It was an old rusted door so  it did made sense on why it fell apart. 

"...A ship is waiting for you at the shore...go on..." 

"thank you...Yooni..."

"it's Yoongi dumbass...go now!"

Jungkook then headed towards the forest as he waited inside for Seokjin who was saying his farewell to his old childhood friend, "...make things right okay?...." Seokjin said as tears started to build and blurred his vision, Yoongi chuckle and gave Seokjin a final hug, "...I will make things right....take care of Soobin okay?...raise him as your own" Yoongi said smiling at him from ear to ear as he hid the pain of not wanting to part ways with Seokjin.

Seokjin chuckle and nodded, both held on to each other's hands tightly but the moment He heard Jungkook's voice saying it was time to go, He knew letting Yoongi's hands go means that he can never see him again.

Yoongi gave him a reassuring smile, "...it's okay...go now you idiot" Yoongi chuckle pushing him away gently, Seokjin nodded as a response before turning his back on him, The moment he turned around, He saw Jungkook standing there with open arms.

He sigh and immediately runs towards the forest along with Jungkook as they both held on to each other's hands, while running, Jungkook look behind him to see Yoongi walking away with a sword in his hands.
