Chapter XXIX

Slamming the door wide open, it startled Soobin who was patiently waiting at the stair case for everyone to come home, Seokjin gasps for air once his body collided against the cold floor, His legs finally gave up after the running but Jungkook was fine, "U-Uncle! w-where's Uncle Yoongi?" Soobin exclaimed grabbing Jungkook from his sleeve, Jungkook glance at his lover who got back on his feet. 

"...listen to me...we are going to leave this place"

Jungkook said causing Soobin to look at him in confusion, "w-why?" He said innocently. Seokjin bit the bottom of his lips, "it's too dangerous for us to be here...so Yoongi asked us to leave this place with you...." Seokjin said kneeling at his size, Soobin clench his fist, "Is Uncle going to die?" Soobin said looking at the two of them with teary eyes, Seokjin's lips quivered hoping that wasn't the case at all, He shakes his head.

"I'll go get something first Seokjin...stay here okay?" Jungkook said kissing him on the forehead as he earned a nod from Seokjin, He then immediately left and went up the stairs leaving Seokjin and Soobin.

"Soobin....don't say that okay?...we're just going somewhere far from here because the Prince is coming here to kill us...you have to understand our situation...." Seokjin said but as he tried to calm Soobin, He as well was shaking in fear, Seokjin shook those unwanted feeling before telling Soobin to pack the things he'll be needing, Soobin went upstairs and opens the door to see the infant crying, He clench his fist together before grabbing the infant as well as the necessities.

Seokjin  clasp his hands together as he paced back and forth, He wanted to leave as soon as possible since  Seokjin could definitely hear loud bombings from the city, Jungkook entered the secret room inside his chamber as he opens the small chest to see the glowing blue orb.

He took a deep breath before grabbing it and left his room, "Jungkook...let's go" He saw Seokjin with Soobin who he puts a coat around him to protect Soobin from the cold as well as the baby who was place in a basket comfortable enough for it to sleep peacefully, Jungkook gulped, Seokjin stood up and grabs the bag as Jungkook followed him from behind silently.

Hearing the loud noises scared Soobin as he gripped on to Seokjin's hands tightly, Jungkook gaze down at the scared young boy. "it's going to be alright Soobin" Jungkook said softly to the boy, Soobin's lips quivered, the infant was nowhere near scared and it amazes Jungkook, Soobin then nodded as a response before wiping his tears away and pulled the baby closer to him.

"...the shore shouldn't be too far from here" Seokjin mumbled, He could already smell the ocean and hearing it from afar made him sigh in relief, Jungkook sigh, "...Seokjin..." Jungkook called out his lover's name, Seokjin turned around to see Jungkook with a bitter smile, He grabs Seokjin by his shoulder as he stroke his cheeks gently, Seokjin felt the warmth of it, He buried his cheeks against Jungkook's hand,

"....I love you....and I'm sorry...." Jungkook said kissing his forehead before pushing Seokjin and Soobin away.

"w-what..."

Seokjin gasps when Soobin and him was surrounded by a black smoke that slowly blocked his vision from seeing Jungkook who only stood there with a pained expression, Both were transported at the boat that was already moving far away from the shore, Soobin looks around, He was confused for a second on how did they get in the boat.

"YOUNG MASTER!!!!! WHAT!?!?"

Seokjin yelled on top if his lungs to see Jungkook waving at him with a painful smile, He tried to climb down and jump to the sea but once he saw how far away he was, He couldn't do it.

"no....you promised..."

 Devastation and loss could only be written on his face, as tears streamed down his cheeks, Jungkook stood from afar as he could hear his lovers desperate voice, He gritted his teeth. 

"I'll come find you...I promise..."

Jimin stood from afar with his arms folded against his chest, He had to stay behind in order for the plan to be fulfilled and all Jimin has to do was to distract Taehyung and wait for Jungkook's return. "...How can this be?!?!" Taehyung exclaimed as his eyes watch in anger, He could hear screams from the outside, "my plans are RUINED!!!!!" Taehyung exclaimed slamming his table with his fist causing it to break in half, Jimin stayed unfazed and crept a small wicked smile.

"shall we escape your majesty?" Jimin said testing him for his braver, once Taehyung heard of it, He scoff and grabs Jimin by his collar shirt, "I am not a coward" Taehyung growled in anger as he left the room to fight along side with his guards who fought against the humans, Jimin smirked as he felt the intense air filling up the room.

The window burst open to reveal Jungkook with his glowing golden eyes, "he just left" Jimin said crossing his arms, Jungkook nodded, His expression was distinguish with sadness and yet he remained his cold expression.

"is this plan going to work? I lured him in and distracted him just like you said....but you know his strong" Jimin said handing Jungkook a sword, Jungkook slides his finger through the naked blade as it shined upon the presence of the moon.

"....the only thing that matters right now is...Seokjin will not go down with me when I die...."

"If you died!! you're immortal you fool"

Jimin said glaring at Jungkook who could only chuckle.

"yeah.....I guess...."

Jungkook said with a saddened tone, Jimin sigh, "love is scary..."

Taehyung watch the scene in front of him unfolded, he knew the demons were the apex predator but he felt scared even though they are winning, "...Finish them all!!!" Taehyung yelled at his royal guards as they responded in unison, Taehyung removed the long red coated cape from his back as he headed his way at the south wing of the castle.

"....what is happening....we are winning...but why do I feel like I lost?"Taehyung questioned himself as he pace back and forth, the feeling of dread never left him.

"Are you scared King?"

Taehyung gasp as he heard Jungkook's voice coming towards him, He quickly turns around to face Jungkook with Jimin beside him smiling.

"I gave you a choice to escape didn't I?"

Jimin said in a mockery voice, Taehyung gritted his teeth as he pointed his long sword towards Jimin who did nothing but laugh at him, He then glance at Jungkook.

"His all yours"

He said in a whisper before walking away, Jungkook stayed unfazed as his motionless face annoyed Taehyung.

"shall we play hide n' seek?"

Everyone!!!sorry for the delay of this chapter!!! I was kind of busy doing irl stuff....quizzes and Performance tasks are killing me! so I haven't gotten a chance to write chapter 29 in the past few days...hope you understand~~~~
