2 days before marriage of Mild and Aa

Mild and Aa has been dating each other for 7 months now. They love each other very much. They were very sure of their relationship so they decided to take their relationship to the next level and have this forever bond. As promised to Mew he had his own life.

He no longer lives with Mew. After 2 months dating Aa he moved in with him. He did that because Mew looked a lot better after they had that talk that day a year ago and moreover he sees him almost everyday at work. Nowadays Mew smiles a bit more only for the sake of Mild. Mew's life goes on from work to home and home to work. Every now and then his sister Jom visits him and gives him her own baked cookies and cakes. He loves to eat them. They are the only taste left in his life. He still had sleepless nights and cried his heart out. He knows he can never forget him. He just made himself strong enough to able to pretend to be happy infront of others.

Mild was excited to start his new life but he was still worried about Mew. As his wedding day nears he becomes more anxious for his dear friend. He doesn't really believes Mew but he trusts him. Somewhere he still feels that Mew has not changed a bit. Sometimes he gets the feel that he shouldn't have decided to start a married life now, but its also true he loves Aa more than his life. It was a very hard decision to choose between a friend and a partner. He chose his partner but he promised himself that he will stake everything for his friend if needed.

He gave his all, he used all sources and connections he and Aa had to the best to find Gulf for the last time. Its not that he hasn't tried for all these years but this time the effort was relatably immense. At last after many hardships he found Gulf's contact the two days before his wedding day.

Mild: Aa listen (his eyes tearing up)

Aa was making pancakes in the kitchen

Aa: Yup tell...

Mild: Aa I have found him (sobs) I have found him at last Aa..I have found him...

Aa: WHAT!!!! REALLY!!!!

Mild: Yes Aa (sobs)

Aa: Its not the time to cry. Quickly give him a call and invite him to our wedding.

Mild: Are you sure...

Aa: Then what else should we do? Its the best. There is no better way to make them meet again.

Mild: But what if he has moved on? What if he is in a relationship? WHAT IF HE IS MARRIED!!!

Ae: Stop overthinking Mild. Be rational. Give him a call. Its better than nothing. At least you tried.

Mild nods. Then he calls Gulf. He doesn't pickup at first. Maybe because of an unknown number. He called again. This time after two rings he picked up.

Gulf: Hello

Mild: Umm... Hello. Is this Mr. Gulf Kanawut I am speaking to?

Gulf: Yes, tell.

Mild: (smiles) Hi Gulf. Remember me?

Gulf: Sorry

Mild: Hey Gulf, its me, Mild. Remember?

Gulf:

Mild: Hello... Hii... Is the line dead....

Gulf: Y...Y...Yes M...Mild t...tell. I am listening.

Mild: (in a very calm tone) How are you Gulf?

Gulf: F...Fine

Mild: You sure?

Gulf: Ya ya (his voice seemed a little shaky)

Mild: Where are you now? How...

He was cut off by Gulf's moan. He has started crying on the other side of the phone.

Gulf: I am sorry Mild for whatever I did. Please tell him sorry in behalf of me. I am so sorry...

He breaks down in a silent sob. Pain evident in his voice. Mild worriedly said

Mild: Gulf, control yourself please. Its past. Its all gone. Dont give yourself more pain. I dont wanna talk on this topic over phone. It will stab you more. Rather I have something important to say to you.

Gulf: I am so so sorry Mild. Yeah you continue, you must have called for some important purpose. Sorry for my break down.

Mild: Its okk. Listen carefully. Do you still think me as your friend?

Gulf: Yup ofcourse Mild.

Mild: Then if thats so, then will you not be present in your friend's most important day of his life?

Gulf: I dont get you Mild.

Mild: After 2 days is my wedding day. I want you to come. I will send the details by text. I will not listen any excuse. You have to come. If you dont I will assume you dont value me anymore. I will not give you the chance to think too. I am hanging up. I will talk with you on that day.

He hangs up. Aa nods his head in disbelief.

Aa: What the fuck did you do Mild? 

Mild: Dont worry Aa. I know him very well. He will definitely come. He cant stand emotional blackmail. I have my ways.

Aa: You are insane. Lets see, and if he doesn't show up I will blame you. Watch me.
