The Wedding Day

The wedding venue was set in a beach. The beach was aesthetically decorated. It looked so heavenly. The atmosphere was so pure and serene. Everything looked like a dream.

Mew was sitting in the front row and was watching Mild and Aa saying their wedding vows to each other. He too dreamt of this sight to happen in his life too. He also wanted to experience this with him who has left him long ago. Everything in the wedding made Mew miss him more and more. He got reminded of the times when they joked about their wedding and venues. A soft smile appeared on his lips just by the thought of his love as well as his eyes glistened up. He quickly wiped them off. He doesn't want Mild to worry about him at least on his special day. He was truly happy for his friend.

The wedding got over. The guests were going to the newly wed couple one by one to congratulate them. It was becoming unbearable for Mew. He was feeling very uncomfortable. He quickly got up from his seat and went to Mild and Aa. He stood before them, congratulated them with a smile. Then he turned around and started walking towards the sea, far away from all these noises to sit on the sand facing the water while the sun is going down.

Atlast after sometime Mild and Aa got free.

Mild: Aa, see how he is sitting there. I can't see him like this, I feel guilty...

Aa: (giving him a assuring hold on his shoulder) Its not your fault Mild. You tried your best but its not a thing that you can solve. Infact no one of us can solve except that one person. We have to leave everything on fate now. He has to heal by himself.

Mild: I know Aa, I know. Another thing I am worrying about is Gulf didn't show up yet and I am unable to reach his phone too.

Aa: For that I will completely blame you for talking with him so awkwardly that day.

Mild: But it always worked you know. He cannot stand emotional black.....

He got cut off by the figure of Gulf walking towards them with a bouquet of flower in hand. His face looked gloomy. Mild instantly ran towards him and hugged him. He eyes teared up. He broke the hug and holded his hands tightly.

Mild: How are you? Everything ok? How have you been? What have you been doing? What......

Aa: Ahhhh... Mild, stop your inquisitions now. Let him breathe. (to Gulf) Nice to meet you Gulf. I know everything about you from Mild, don't worry.

Gulf gave a dry smile at Aa and nodded, then he spoke in a extreme low voice

Gulf: How are you Mild?

Mild: I am fine. How are you?

Gulf: (lowers his voice more and tears accumulating in his eyes) how's he?

Mild: (leaves a deep breath) See Gulf, I can't really describe his condition. His condition is horrible....

Gulf starts crying loudly and falls to his knees shivering in pain

Gulf: Forgive me. I didn't mean to (cries profusely)

Mild grabs his shoulder and pulls him up.

Mild: I already forgave you long back. Its useless to cry to me. What important right now is that person... (He points towards Mew sitting alone on the sand far away) You see him? He is like that everyday as if he has lost his reason to live. I am bearing with this for six long years yet I could change nothing. You know very well how lively he was. Now its only you who can mend him, who can revive him. So don't waste another moment. This is your last chance.

Gulf: But what if he doesn't accept me...

Mild: I think you know him better than me.

Gulf turns back and starts walking towards Mew. The sun is about to set. The atmosphere is dusky golden in colour. Gulf is walking weakly on the sandy beach. Fate is all set to take its role again.
