AFTER SCHOOL

I was working like usual when I heard screaming?!

"HEY SHUT THE FUC- oh hey dad who are they?" I saw noya and tanka but we had to act like we didn't know each other.

"KIYOKO!!!" I ran and gave my best friend a hug. I saw yachi just standing there awkwardly..

"Don't be so awkward Yachi give me a hug! You're so cute!" I squished the little bean into my *COUGH* breasts..

"Let me go crazy!" We both laughed while everyone walked inside.

"You didn't tell us you had a daughter!" The orange haired boy said.

"Yeah well you guys are crazy. My kid doesn't need to be with crazy."

"Really.. they seem like nice people to me!"

"Well.. you aren't like them! YOURE DIFFERENT. So stop bothering me about them."

I can't believe he said that.

"You know what. I hate you. I hate you so much I wish mom was here. God how did she put up with your shit?! You're so embarrassing!"

I ran off while I heard him scream "kid" or just my name. He can be so dumb sometimes. God I miss mom.. I can't believe that idiot crashed into her...

I was crying while running home. I didn't care what I looked like I just needed to go home.

"G-grandma he- he said I wasn't normal..." I hate being called names. It brought back bad memories...

LATER THAT NIGHT

It was at least 12am and I heard a knock at my door... it was my dad. Of course he had a cigarette in his hand too.

"Hey kid.. I'm sorry. You can meet them ok? I realized that I shouldn't be so hard on you. I know how you feel.. my dad sucked and.. and I don't want to be that dad!"

"It's ok.. I didn't mean what I said earlier it was harsh and I'm sorry. Can I meet them tomorrow?!"

Maybe I can actually be good friends with noya and tanka!!! Or I can also join the team! I'm pretty good at blocking.. even though I'm 5'4 that doesn't mean anything.

"Hey dad?"

"Yeah kid?"

"Can i join the team... as a blocker!" I hope he says yes. Please!!

"We will see... I don't think girls can be on the court though.. I'll talk to the board."
