THE NEXT DAY

I woke up by Madison jumping on me. I looked around groaning and rubbing my eyes... I guess I woke up late?! I shot up and threw my uniform on as well. I was wearing my sleeveless karasuno number 14 shirt with some shorts and socks.  I walked into the cafeteria and into the dining room with a plate full of breakfast. I saw the three dumbass's scarfing food into their mouths.

"Mind if I sit here?" They all stopped and just had a flower aura?! "HEY! Dumbasses I'm not one of those girls you have to drool over..."

"Wait why? You're very hot and funny!"

"Just because you think I'm hot and 'funny' doesn't mean I'm worth it. It may not seem like it but I'm really insecure ok?"

"Y/N I WOULD TAKE YOUR HAND IN MARRIGE!" They all said at the same time.. these dumbasses I love them. "Eat up will you. We have games to play." We all dug in once again.

ON THE COURT

"Dad can I go in now?! I've been waiting forever!!" We were playing against Nekoma right now. Tadashi was in my place, he may needed the practice but I wanted to play. I want to BE on the court. This tension was building up more and more. I have waited too long to not play.. "DAD PLEASE!"

"Fine. Crazy kid." I switched out Asahi so now our line up was, Hinata, Tsukki, Kageyama, Daichi, Noya, etc. "OI! Pass it to me will ya?" I winked at Kageyama and he knew. I could tell they all knew.

Daichi did a regular serve then Yuri dug it up making it in the air. Me and Tsukki went to block which didn't end well. Nishinoya luckily brought it up. "YEAH!" He screamed. Kageyama lined it up.

"TAKE THAT BITCHES!" I jumped as high as I could with all my momentum and SLAMMED that weak serve into the ground. Once I landed it was completely silent. "HELL YEAH!" I turned and high fived Tsukki who was still not saying a word... what's their problem?

"Y-your butt was over... the net." So?

"What's the big deal? I can jump.. and block. It's easy!"

"THAT'S HIGHER THAN HINATA!" W-what.. the hell? That can't be true.. right?

"Y/N M/N L/N GET OVER HERE." What now...

"So when were you gonna tell me you could play like that?!"

"1 you're always at the shop. 2 ever since.. you know I never wanted to show what I could do. She was the one who taught me my jumping skills.." Mom was the highest jumpers in her prefecture. #1 in Women of Japan.  Her capibilites never matched mine but I worked so hard to get to where she was. Every single game I had she was there.

AFTER PRACTICE

"I underestimated you, I never knew you could jump high than even me!"

"Hinata, I did everything I could to do what I wanted. Keep doing what you need ok?"

I walked off. I didn't really wanna speak to anyone because of how shitty I feel saying my mom died. Having the inspiration you have dead kills you and what you wanna do.

"Y/N-CHANN!!!" Oh it's Lev.

"Hey beanstalk you ok?"
"Yeah.. I just wanted to tell you how amazing that jump was!" I hugged his tall lanky ass.

"Thank you Lev I really appreciate that.." Giving him a smile I heard yelling from afar..

"OI THE FOUR DUMBASSES SHUT UP!" Oh Daichi-senpai.
