"Welcome to Robert E. Neally High School," was printed on the enormous mound in front of the entrance of the school. The school colors are navy blue and yellow and the school's mascot is a salamander. No one really understood why it was a salamander but there were rumors that a long time ago before the school was built there was a big river that ran through the school that was full of salamanders. The founder found and captured the land and the river but, when he did so the river began to dry up and killed all the wildlife except one salamander he kept and fed, hence the salamander.

No one really cared about the history of the school anyway, high school was mostly about gossip, especially at Robert Neally.

Indigo's bus rode in slowly and parked alongside the neighboring busses.

"Wake up Rudy your drooling on me again," Indigo said smacking her forehead to wake her up.

"MACARONI N' CHEESE!!!", she said as she woke up from a crazy dream.

"Your one strange girl you know that," he said while laughing hysterically.

"Yeah Yeah just make sure your ready tonight big head," she said pulling her bag from under the seat in front of them.

"Ma'am yes ma'am!", he said mimicking a sailor saluting to his captain. They both laughed and shared a hug as they went their different ways. Some people were curious that Indigo and Rudy were dating but, everyone knew Ruby liked girls anyway.

Indigo walked the halls like a god. Everyone knew who he was and he was very likable by most of the staff and students there. Indigo however decided to take the longer route to class today to clear his head. He took the backside pathway that led to the football and the soccer fields which eventually took him to the building where he had math class. He popped in his air-pods and put on his BTS playlist.

He wasn't the biggest K-Pop fan but something about Asians singing and dancing made him like the group. He started to dance, using the objects around him as props for his music video in his head. As he got near the bleachers he started to see a few guys in Letterman jackets.

When he got where they were standing he realized that it was a few of his teammates and their girlfriends and few of the "popular people" in school. They were picking on Nigel Clarke, the school so-called "nerd."

Nigel is a scrawny little Indian boy with a huge set of glasses and always wore a button-down, slacks, and a cozy vest because it could get cold sometimes, he was pretty sharp actually. He's an exchange student from India and is very intelligent so much so that he is the only ninth-grader with senior credits. Nigel can't really defend himself so he ends up doing other people's homework so he wouldn't get beat up or given a wedgie.

"Where is my Geography homework chump?", Josh said as he took Nigel's glasses and held over his head.

"You were supposed to pay me from two weeks ago," Nigel said jumping trying to catch his glasses out of his hand.

"Your gonna give me my homework or I'm gonna have to beat it out of you twerp!", he picked Nigel up by the collar and hung him on a broken bleacher step that was sticking out of the side of the bleachers.

Josh was the stereotypical jock but ugly. He was a stocky line-backer for the team and he had pimples the size of skittles all over his face. He felt popular because his dad owned the best arcade in San Fransisco and all the kids would hang out there. He also would flex a lot of money at school to impress gold digging girls.

Indigo never really liked him but tolerated him because they were teammates, but seeing him treat Nigel the way he was ticked him off, especially today.
