He was still waiting at the gate. He had seen many people come in but not one belonged to his Clarita.
He came back everyday for a year before he caught sight of her beauty once again.
But his eyes then trailed to the child in her arms.
"Clarita."
"You kept your promise." She smiled
Adiel did not answer, his eyes were glued to the child in her arms. It was a boy. He looked just like him.
"Samuel. That's his name." Clarita said, feeling his gaze on their son.
Adiel's eyes twinkled, "Samuel.."He trailed looking at his son. The young boy looked at his father with huge innocent eyes.
"That's your father, Samuel."
The little child looked at her mother,
"Dada?" He asked in his baby voice.
Clarita nodded, "Dada."
Adiel took him in his arms, "My boy" Samuel giggled. His eyes then met the woman in front of her.
"My wife."
Clarita raised her brow, "You haven't proposed to me yet, Adiel."
"Oh really?" Adiel teased before pulling out a beautiful ring.
Clarita gasped, before he could even ask she hugged him with all of her might.
"Yes!"
Adiel laughed as well as Samuel. He slid the ring in her finger and kissed her forehead.
"Let's go inside? We need to prepare for the wedding." Adiel winked.
Clarita only laughed and punched him playfully.
The three then entered the gates of heaven. Their future was filled with happiness and bliss.
They trusted Him.
And He rewarded them with eternal life in His Kingdom.
And Adiel, the Angel of Truth cannot ask for more.
The End.
