A while later, Five stopped the car, got out and left me inside.
Rude.
I saw him outside of the cafe as he waved for me to come over, I got out of the car and walked right past him, into the cafe. I took a seat at one of the stools at the counter, Five took a seat beside me and rang a silver bell-thing that was in front of him, no sooner did a guy come and sit beside us.

I suddenly got really bored and decided to keep dinging the bell-thingy. A women that looked about her early 50's came out of the back, I zoned out and kept dinging, until someone pulled the dingy thing away from me. I saw Five smile a fake sweetness towards the woman, who looked at me as if I'd grown three heads, "the kids want coffee's. Black" Five told her, then I zoned out again singing the lullaby.

I was brought back to the world of sh*tiness and torture, by another group of people entering the cafe, I didn't really pay them any attention until they pointed a gun to my head. I wasn't listening to the little chat they and Five were having, I was just waiting for Five's signal...there it is.

I picked up a knife and stabbed the guy who was holding the knife to my head, killing him instantly. I then jumped behind the counter as I waited for the rest of the dummies to stop trying to shoot at Five.
"Hey assholes!" I heard Five shout, I took that as my cue and slid across the counter and jumped on one of the guys shoulders, snapping his neck in the process.

They stopped trying to shoot at Five and focused on me trying to jump on another guys shoulder, I got on but the guy wouldn't stop moving long enough for me to snap his neck.
"Stop moving- goddamn it!" I shouted, frustrated I looked to Five, who was fighting with the rest of the guys, for help which was a mistake because the guy flung my off his shoulders and into the wall behind the counter.

I cried out as I hit the menu board and fell back behind the counter, my head hurt like hell, so much so I didn't notice the same guy pick me up and fling me over his shoulder. I could still hear Five fighting the other people, I heard a scream followed by a deadly silence,
"Now you're gonna let us go no problem, or your gonna be the only one leaving the place alive tonight" the guy said.

"Put. Her. Down" I heard Five whisper, with so much danger lacing his tone, I felt the guy continuing to walk on, a family. A wife. A daughter...
"Mary" I mumbled so only he would hear me, he froze,
"W-what?" He stuttered. Perfect.
"Your daughter...is Mary" I said a bit louder and more clearly, I also noticed a loose metal pipe attached to the wall in front of me.

"Maybe how the hell do you know her?" He asked aggressively,
"Mind sight" I chuckled softly, as I grabbed the pipe, I continuously beat him to the ground until he stopped moving. Once I had finished I looked up at Five who had teleported beside me, and I didn't even flinch,
"You alright, Bee?" He asked, he went to touch the wound in my head but when he did, I didn't feel a thing.
"Not bad you?" I replied, he looked at me as he pulled his hand back, which was covered in blood.
My blood.

"Fine" he said, whilst looking at me skeptically, he then walked over the first dead guy and pulled out the knife.
"Watcha doing?" I questioned, he ignored me and went to place the knife over his wrist, before he could do anything though, I snatched the knife away from his grip.

"Hey! I have to get the tracker out of my arm, quit being such a worry" he exclaimed as he snatched the knife back again and piercing his skin open before I could stop him.
"I'll stop worrying when you tell me whats going on, who were they?" I pressed, Five ignored me and continued to look for the tracker in his arm. I didn't have time for this, so I smacked him upside the head and left to go to Vanya's flat. Which is where I've been staying since I'm broke and have nowhere else to go.

*Five's POV*

I felt Lonnie smack me upside the head.
Ow, if she could just wait until I'm done getting the tracker out of my arm, then I'll tell what she wants to know.
Yes! I pulled the tracker out of my arm, and took a proper look at it, I expected Lonnie to ask who put a tracker in my arm, but she didn't.
Strange.
I looked up to find that besides the dead bodies, I was the only one in the shop, oh no.

I ran out of the cafe and dropped the tracker down a drain, I couldn't let Lonnie wonder around after what just happened, she's already in danger. I saw that the car was still parked where it was before, I would've expected Lonnie to take the car.
She has been acting really strange recently, ever since Dads funeral but I admit being confused as to why and how Dad 'fried her brain' as Diego put it.

I guess I could just ask her later, or better yet, somebody else, she seemed- and still acts like a whole other person. She also failed to mention our first kiss as well, I mean yeah fair enough, I was about to disappear through time with a high chance of never returning again,
But nobody's perfect.

I got in the car and drove to Vanya's apartment, if there was one person I could trust to help me find Lonnie, was Vanya.
Both Lonnie and Vanya were my my good and closest friends, although I've always loved them above the rest of the family, although I pictured Lonnie as something more than plutonic.

I stepped out of the car and climbed the fire escape until I reached Vanya's apartment window, I slid it open and found the lights were off but I could feel another presence, besides me obviously.
I snuck about the apartment, attempting to surprise attack the person, until I realised it was Lonnie, who was sleeping soundlessly on the couch.

I stared at her sleeping figure on the coach I took in how beautiful she looks, and then the lights turned on and I saw Vanya coming through the front door, I sat in an armchair that was behind me and waited for her to take notice of me.

When she did her eyes widened until she realised it was me,
"Jesus, Five" she sighed, "did Mel let you in?" She asked, I furrowed my eyebrows, how could Lonnie have let me in? Does she live here? I thought she had broken in like me.

"No, but you should lock your windows" I said flatly, she looked from me to Lonnie a couple of times,
"How? I live in the second floor?"
"Rapists can climb" I stated, I really didn't have time for her slowness,
"You are so weird" I heard her mumble under her breath, I chose to ignore her as my eyes drifted back to Lonnie.

"Why are you here?" Vanya asked, taking a seat on the armrest of the couch, being careful not to wake up Lonnie,
"I've decided, besides Lonnie, that you're the only one I can trust" I admitted,
"Why?"
"Because you're ordinary" I explained, she gave me a hurt expression,
"Because you'll listen" I corrected myself, satisfied with my answer she nodded for me to continue, I went to speak only for her to speak first.

"Five, is that blood?", I already knew what she was talking about,
"It's fine, Vanya, it's nothing" I tried to tell her, nevertheless she stood up and walked into what I assumed to be her bathroom and come out with a first aid kit.

She started cleaning my arm so I took that opportunity to confess,
"When I got stuck in the future do you know what I found?"
"No" she replied focusing on my arm,
"Nothing" she looked at me confused,
"there was nothing, as far as I could tell I was the only person left alive, I don't know what caused it but I found a date" I repeated adding on more info, she looked at me with wide eyes,
The world ends in 8 days and I don't know how to stop it" I finally confessed.

I didn't think she was gonna reply, until she said in a quiet and shaky voice,
"I'll put in a pot of coffee"
