I straightened my handbag and made sure my phone was in the back pocket of my jeans. Before entering, I got out my small makeup mirror to see if I had anything on my teeth. I always carry this mirror with me because of what had happened on my very first date and to this day, I am never going outside without checking my teeth first.

FLASHBACK TO DATE

"Ahh! I'm so nervous! It's been a while I've been on a date Areum. Ya think I can do this?" I said while facing her with my black dress that has a slit at the bottom with red pumps.

She faced me, looked me up and down, told me to twirl, and then said.

"Y/N, look at the mirror right quick." She suggested as she got up and walked up to me while facing the mirror.

"Turn around." She said.

I turned around and exclaimed.

"Wow.. I-"

"Mhm, yep, I expected that reaction." She said as she had cut me off while smiling.

"Now tell me, you look good?"

"Yeah."

"You lookin' bomb?"

"Yeah."

"ARE YOU LOOKING SEXY TONIGHT?" She said in a high fun voice while grooving her body.

"YEAH!!" I said as I postured in a sexy position.

"Then shut the fuck up cause you know damn well that you looking good tonight and you gon' rock this date, ok?" She said as she had stopped grooving and made eye contact through the mirror with a straight and yet calm voice.

"Alright!" I said as I turned around to see her.

"Thank you so much for this date Aru!!" I said as I hugged her tightly.

"Sweetie don't thank me, thank Tinder, they got some hella good looking guys on there. I should set myself a date as well." She said as she patted my back with a thin voice.

"Y/N."

"Yeah?" I said while still hugging her tightly.

"Ya gonna go or are you waiting to kill me." She said in a thin, small voice.

"AH! sorry!" I said as I had let her go from my arms while laughing a little.

"Geez, anyways.." As she straightened her blue blouse. "Here's the address to the restaurant."

She said as she took my phone and written down the address.

As she was handing my phone back, her phone started to ring on the sofa. She went over to see who it was.

"SHIT, MY MOM IS CALLING. I'LL CATCH YA LATER OK?? HAVE FUN ON YOUR DATE!!"

Before I could even say bye to her, she rushed out the door while grabbing her car keys, as she had answered the call, speaking with her mom.

I faced myself towards the mirror one last time. As I sighed.

"Alright, let's do this."

I grabbed my phone and car keys and headed out.

30 minutes later

I glanced at my phone to see the time as I parked my car in front of the restaurant.

"Omg." I let out a sigh of relief. "I'm on time."

Before I headed out, I checked the rear view mirror for any stains on my face. I was ready to go so I quickly got out the car and walked over to the fancy, clear door. I could see my date from the outside of this door and wow let me tell you he was stunning.
