The Dance...

Moxie: Oh....Hey Venus..

Venus: So how are you?

Moxie: I could be better!

Venus: Oh...Hey Bella! Oh and Harper..why did you leave us the other day?

Harper: Uh...

Moxie: Well we gotta go Venus *shuts door* Oh my troll that was close ;-;

Bella: Tell me about it! Now about that dance *Smiles*

Two days later a little bit before the dance, everyone was getting ready. Harper wore a short dress with paint splatters all over it. Bella wore a short yellow dress very similar to what Belle wore in Beauty and The Beast. Moxie wore a magenta and black dress.                                                                  Barb wore a red dress and black fish nets. DJ wore a light orange dress and wore head phones because yes U-U. Venus wore a green and blue dress. And Poppy? Oh she was wearing a pink glittery dress and her hair in a bun.

Harper: Hey Poppy!

Poppy: Hey Harper!

Bella: So you ready to sing?

Poppy: Yup!

Moxie: What are you going to sing about?

Poppy: About love 

Barb: *looks down*

DJ: Hey whats wrong Barb?

Barb: I forgot to meet up with my secret admirer...

Poppy: Hey what's that in your hand..?

Barb: It's a letter..to  apologize...but i don't know who to give it to...

Poppy: What about Aspen? He was the one who gave it to you

Barb: Okay....*walks up to aspen* Hey Aspen...

Aspen: Oh hey Barb

Barb: Can you give this to my secret admirer...please..

Aspen: *takes letter* Sure see yeah *walks away*

Barb: *runs out*

Bella: *looks over and thinks* Okay good... well still bad but... *talks* Hey Poppy...Isn't that Creek?

Poppy: *looks over*....

It was Creek and Venus....kissing. Poppy was shocked and ran out crying. Meanwhile Barb was sitting under the cherry tear and looking at the  stars

???: Hey...

Barb looked over to see....Riff. 

Barb: W-wait...R-riff? *stands up*

Riff: *puts his hands in his pocket* Yup

Barb: *walks up to him, takes her wrist band and puts his front hair up* You have pretty eyes by the way...

Riff: Thank you..

Barb:..*kisses* Now come on...Poppy is gonna sing soon *grabs him by the hand*

Riff: *blushes* O-Okay

Meanwhile, Poppy as crying outside. She lifted her head and could not believe her eyes.

Poppy: M-mom?

Angel/ Poppy's mom: Hello my dear

Poppy: I-I miss you so much..!

Angel: I miss you too...but tell me...why are crying my dear?

Poppy: *sniffs* W-well...my heart was just got broken...

Angel: Poppy...I think the right guy was in front of you from the start...

Poppy: *realizes something* I know what to do! Thanks mom! *runs back in*

Angel: You're welcome my dear *disappears*

DJ: Please Welcome to the stage, Poppy Kendrick!

Poppy: * sighs and grabs mic*

Everyone gathered round to her her sing.

Poppy: I found a guy, told me I was a star....He held the door held my hand in the dark *looks at Branch*

Branch: *thinks* Wait a sec...is this about...me?

Poppy: And he's perfect on paper but he's lying to my face....Does he think that I'm the kinda girl who needs to be saved.....

Branch: *looks down and thinks*...she's right...

Poppy: *looks at Creek* And there's one more boy, he's from my past...We fell in "love" but it didn't last....

Creek: *thinks* She did not just say that....oh she's gonna pay...

Poppy: 'Cause the second I figure it out he pushes me away....And I won't fight for love if you won't meet me halfway... *looks at Branch* And I say that I'm through but this song's still for you..

Branch: *thinks* Huh..?

Poppy: All I want is love that lasts...Is all I want too much to ask?...Is it something wrong with me?! *sheds tear*

Branch: *thinks* No! 

Poppy: All I want is a good guy! Are my expectations far too high? Try my best but what can I say...Try my best but what can I say...All I have is myself at the end of the day....But shouldn't that be enough...*sheds tear* for me ....*runs off stage*

Branch: *runs after her*

Poppy ran outside and cried. She was really upset. She took her hair out and threw the hair band.

Branch: ...Poppy..?

Poppy: *wipes tear* B-branch..?
