The Witches Daughter **Jimin x Reader**

Chapter 2:

Third POV

Just when Soobin and Y/n got out of sight Yoongi hit Taehyung on the head.
"Ow what the hell Yoongi!?" Taehyung shouted at him.
"You befriended the witch's daughter, what were you thinking!" He shouted at him.
"She seemed so harmless I didn't think it'd be right to kill her." Taehyung said looking at the ground.
"I'm with Taehyung here, she does seem harmless. I know our mission here was to find her and kill her but I don't know anymore." Jungkook said, rubbing her neck. "What do you think prince?" He asked Jimin.
"My father wants all mer-folk who were associated with the witch dead, she was just a baby at that time so it seems a little unfair. I say we stay friends with her!" He said with his cute smile.
All the boys cheered and lifted Jimin on their shoulders while chanting "Jimin" over and over again. He chuckled and held onto his friends.
"Now let's go swimming!" Jin smiled and they all ran into the water.

The next day your POV

A woman swam with her baby as fast as she could. Her light purple fin looking like a blur as she swam. All she could hear were shouts of guards.
The baby cried loudly as the chase continue. The woman stopped near the shore and said something inaudible and gave her a necklace with a pink shell on it. The baby was taken to the shore by the water and turned into a human. The baby cried as she saw her mom smile with tears flowing from her eyes. She mouthed something then it went dark...

I jerked up from my slumber and rubbed my cheeks, I was crying. That dream, it felt so..real. I whipped my cheeks with my shirt and got up from my bed.
I decided to take a hot shower. Once I was out I dried my hair and noticed my necklace, it looked exactly like the one in my dream. I looked closer at it and furrowed my brows. It's exactly like the one in my dream.
I shook it off and changed into a white shirt and a pair of shorts and decided I'll ask my parents about the necklace. I put on my sandals and pulled my hair up into a ponytail. After taking another glance at myself in the mirror I smiled and walked out.
I walked downstairs and saw both my parents in the kitchen talking while making breakfast. "Hey mom. Hey dad." I smiled and gave both of them a kiss on the cheek.
They smiled back at me and my mom moved some of the loose strands of hair out of my face. "hey sweetie how'd you sleep?" She asked while handing me a plate.
"Pretty good, I had a weird dream though... Mom where did I get this necklace?" I asked looking up at her.
She looked over at my dad then back at me. "I don't know sweetie, when we found you at the shore you were wearing it."
"We tried taking it off but it just shocked us." My dad said and looked at me with a sad expression.
"I'm sorry we couldn't give you a better answer." My mom said and kissed my forehead.
"It's okay mom." I smiled and finished eating. "Imma go down by the shore, I'll be back." I waved and walked outside.
While walking to the shore I was deep in thought. I couldn't think of any other explanation for that dream. I sighed and hunched over defeated.
"I'll never find out what that dream means." I whined and walked up to my favorite spot.
It was a huge rock that waves would crash onto but it was a peaceful place to sit and think. I climbed up the rock and sat down, looking out into the ocean. The wind blew softly making my hair flow and I looked out into the never ending ocean. "Maybe there's something more out there than we think."

About 10 minutes later Jimin's POV

I walked along the shore, thinking. I couldn't get Y/n off my mind last night, something about her just drives me crazy. I noticed her necklace the same as mine except mine were earrings.
How can someone so nice be the daughter of a witch? I won't let anyone hurt her. I thought as my eyes trailed the ocean.
My eyes widened when I saw Y/n on a rock looking out to the ocean. Her lavender hair blowing gently in the wind at her eyes traveled the water. The water splashed lightly on the rock and everything looked slow motion. I felt my heart speed up and butterflies form in my stomach.
I decided to swim up to her. I took my shirt off along with my shoes and quietly dove into the water. I swam up to her but she didn't seem to hear me. Her long slender fingers fiddled with the necklace she wore as she looked deep in thought.
She's even more beautiful up close. I could tell something was bothering her. Her eyes showed confusion as her brows furrowed. I decided to host myself up and sit next to her. Once she heard me sit next to her, her gaze turned to me.
The confused look on her face changed and her eyes softened as she had a soft smile. "Hello Jimin." She spoke and her hand continued holding her necklace.
"Hey." I smiled at her and moved a little closer so I don't fall off. "Something bothering you?" I asked, as she looked back out to the water. I studied every feature of her face as she nodded a little. "Wanna talk about it?"
She nodded again and held onto her necklace tighter. "I had a strange dream last night. It was about a woman with hair lighter than mine and she had..fins. She was swimming through the water in a hurry and she held a child with her. People were chasing her. She gave her baby the same necklace as mine before abandoning her and the woman was crying.. I woke up crying this morning." She said as tears ran down her cheeks. She sniffled and whipped her cheeks.
I gently embraced her in a hug and let her cry into my shoulder. She weakly wrapped her arms around me and cried for a good 5 minutes.
She pulled away and I caressed her cheek, gently whipping her tears with my thumb. "Do you..know where the necklace came from?" I asked and she shook her head.
"I asked my parents and they said when they found me on the shore I had the necklace." She said and her hand went up to her necklace. "I've never taken it off, everytime I tried it would shock me."
"Oh, so your adobted?" I asked and she nodded.
"Yeah, my parents were on a date and just found me on the beach." She said and looked back out to the water. "They told me when I was younger that they never were able to move anywhere because if I get too far away from the ocean I get sick. That's why I still live here."
"Do they know why?" I asked and set my hand onto the rock. She shook her head and took her hand off her necklace. She set her hand down on mine by accident, making me and her blush. She looked back at me and smiled softly as she interwind our fingers.
She softly laid her head on my shoulder, making me tense up but I relaxed. I felt my cheeks warm up as I felt her fall asleep.
I smiled and moved her hair out of her face, she had the most angelic features. At that moment I just knew that I had to protect her.
