KORRAS POV

I felt such anger fill my veins. It was a pulsating sense of devastation and betrayal. I couldn't believe my eyes, yet a part of me expected this.

"Hey!" I screamed aloud. His head snapped towards me quickly and it turned a paper white.

"Oh um, Korra..." He said nervously. He knew I saw, and he knew he couldn't cover it.

"Give me one reason, any one in this world, that I shouldn't bend your ass so far into the next year," I stayed harshly, staring into his eyes.

He couldn't come fathom a reason. I looked away, hurt.

"So this is how it is now?" I asked.

"Korra I-"

"No. I don't want to hear this, not now. You helped me feel wanted and respected when I first got here, but these, Mako, are your true colors, and I don't go well with them. Have fun with her...". I spat those words out and turned back to the boutique Asami forced me into. I felt hurt but I didn't feel heartbroken. In a way I was free,  but I could still feel a sting where he used to kiss my cheek.

The bell chimed when I bathed into the store. Asmai's eyes followed me closely.

"So?" She asked.

"Well you saw it didn't you? It over," I responded.

"I told you-" She began.

"Not now," I interrupted her.

"Men are trash Korra,". It was nice that she tried to help me reason myself back to a state of calmness.

"Yeah, I'm not turning back,".

And after 4 years I come back. To those of you who read my middle school tales, I salute you, and you are why I return. I'll be trying to update more and more. And as always, stay cool. If you guys want more, let me know please!!
