Reminder: the whole story is ok Korra's pov. And that yes, there will be Makorra in this and the next chapter. Ew.

"Hello students! It's Friday Janyary 8th! We have a nice quote for you all today. It says "Never let you dreams stay in your head, bring them to life," the loud speaker  rang .

"Remember to go to the boys basketball game next week. It will be a great time. Have a great day!" The loud speaker finished.

Today's classes might actually be fun. I had PE, next I have Baking, Lunch, and Social Studies.

The bell rang and I was on my way to Baking. I heard it was a relatively new class and that not many kids were interested in it. I saw a hair flip and rolled my eyes. "Oh hey looks it's me Asami Sato, I'm rich and beautiful and can get who ever I want!" I laughed at myself and walked into the class, taking a seat.

"Well hey there Avatar." A girl said sitting down next to me. It was Asami.

"Oh hey." I said, not very enthusiastic. I looked behind me and saw Mako smiling. I blushed and turned back around. My long, brown hair swung around and rested neatly on my shoulders.

"Hey uh Korra," Asami began. "Um, well just I saw you and Mako, well yeah, but just be careful, he could break your heart and,"

"Ugh I don't need your help Asami, you don't even know what he is like. He's really nice and, just back off." I snapped.

"Look Korra,"

"Hello class!" The teacher cheered. Asami let out a big sigh and looked down. I looked at her and looked back up.

"Hello Students! It's Friday, February 12th and it's almost Valentine's Day. Today is the last day we will be selling tickets for the dance on Sunday. Remember that there is no school Monday, due to teacher meetings and tickets for the dance are 5 dollars now and 10 dollars at the door." The teacher went on and on as I changed into my P.E clothes. I tied my long brown hair into a pony tail and proceed to put on my shoes. On the way out to my teacher I saw Mako and walked up to him.

"Hey." I said.

"Well hello there." He smiled and pulled me into a kiss. From the corner of my eye I saw Asami and I pulled out and began to talk.

"So are we going to the dance together, or..." I trailed off.

"Of course we are." He smiled. I smiled back at him and headed to my class. The rest of the day went by and the last class of the week was almost over.

"Aright everybody, pack up and you can do whatever untill the bell rings." My teacher said. I turned over and smiled at Asami. We had "made-up" and have actually began to have small talks.

"So you going to the dance Sunday?" I had asked. "Oh wait, of course you are." I giggled. She laughed back and looked into her emerald green eyes, and felt my cheeks heat up.

"Oh, uh, are you going?" She had asked, trying to stop the sensations on my face.

"Yeah." I responded. "Ugh I don't even know what I am going to wear."

"I can help you, if you'd like." She offered.

  "Really?" I chimed.

"Yeah. You know, I'm really good at all this girly stuff." Asami joked. She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote down her number.  "Is it okay if I pick you up tomorrow at twelve? That way we could grab lunch or something."

"Yeah, that sounds great." I said. And with that, the bell rang. I felt a buzz in my backpack and took out my phone. I had a text from Mako.

"Hey babe"

I typed back.

"Hey. What's up?"

I saw a bubble pop up, indicating he was typing back.

"Oh nothing, just thinking about you."

That text made me roll my eyes. Usually I would blush and answer with something cute but, I just ignored him and pulled out the paper with Asami's number on it.

I quickly sent her a simple "hello" and waited for a response. Not even 3 seconds later did she respond.

"I'm assuming this is Korra."

"It is." I replied.

We had gone on talking for a while until I had been called to the dining room for dinner.

"Hey I got to go. See you tomorrow." I typed.

"See you tomorrow Avatar." I laughed at her goodbye and went down to dinner. You know, maybe she isn't so bad.
