Over the next few days Draco and Haven didn't really talk much. Small glances here and there, a few smiles, but no conversations.
Haven had been catching up with some homework in the library. She wasn't paying much attention during class because her mind kept trailing back to what Draco said.
She was in deep thought when someone sat down with her in the library. It was Draco. He seemed more tired than usual. " You need to sleep." Haven muttered. " I can't." Draco said still not making eye contact with her. "Look at me." Haven said not asking but pleading. She needed to see those grey eyes. He slowly looked up, eyes red, dark circles surrounding them. Haven didn't know what to say next, but she didn't expect to hear what came out of her mouth. " Let me help you." Draco furrowed his eyebrows. Why would she help him. " No one can help me, it's hopeless." Haven sat almost crying. "Hope is infinite, Draco." She said not knowing if she even believed what she was saying. "Fine." Draco said said. He wanted her close. He needed her to tell him it was all going to be okay. Haven gave him a slight smile, she got one in return. " Meet me in the common room later tonight." Haven responded. "I'll be there." She would always be there
Haven was walking to the dining hall when she ran into hermione. "Hey Haven!" hermione said. "Hey hermione." Haven said with a smile. Hermione looked as if she was choosing her words carefully. "Listen haven i don't mean to pry but... I saw you with Draco in the library." Haven was confused, why did she care. "Yes i was, we're friends." Haven said. if that's what you could even call them. "I just wanted to tell you that.. maybe you should be careful around him. Harry has his suspicio-" "I know hermione, i was there. Draco isn't what he seems to be." Haven snapped. " I'm sorry haven but" Hermione was interrupted. " Haven Raine, come on you need to eat." Pansy said glaring at Hermione. " Yeah i'm coming." Haven said taking one last look at hermione.
" Why was hermione talking to you?" Blaise said at their table. " She was just asking how i was." Haven said. " You shouldn't be talking to some mudblood." Pansy said. Haven stayed silent. She stayed silent the rest of dinner
