OKAY SO THIS IS MY SECOND FANFICTION!!! YAY!!! :P I'M GUESSING THIS 1 WOULD BE MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER 1, THE OTHER 1 SUCKS... :( WELL IF YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH MR. CURLS, MAYBE YOU'LL LIKE THIS 1! ENJOY :)

Summer's POV

“Ahh, I just love summer!” I exclaimed, dancing around in the sunlight as my best friends, Jess and Will, giggled at my comical movements. No, Will isn’t a guy, her real name is Willow and everyone calls her Will.

“Seriously guys. Dance with me!” I laughed at their amused expressions. I was, by far, the most active girl in the whole school. I was really sporty, trying out lots of sports every single day. I know, it sounds crazy right? But it’s the truth.

I was currently trying out ice-skating and basketball. And I was far from tall! Humming my favorite song, I started trying out the new moves I learned from my ice-skating classes. And I was on ground. Call me crazy, whatever.

“Seriously, Summer. What’s funny is that you just said you loved yourself!” Jess said, putting a hand on my shoulder and pulling me towards her. I wiggled away, dancing on the pavement.

Will lifted her head. “Yes. ‘I just love summer!’,” she mimicked. I rolled my eyes. They have been making the same joke every single year.

As I practically danced my way into the school, girls stared at me. I didn’t even flinch an eyelid. I was the type of girl to ignore what others think of me.

“Summer, watch out!”

“Oops!” I said, stopping my twirl. I almost hit the most girlish girl in the school – Meg.  

Meg was in my class and she’s forever going on about this silly British boy band called… What was it called again? … Oh! One Direction! Oh, and she’s FOREVER putting on lip gloss and touching up on her make up. Like what the hell? Was that girl trying to impress someone?!

And you’re probably thinking, what…?! That Summer girl doesn’t know who One Direction is?! What?!

Um, to answer your question, yes, I had NO IDEA who One Direction is. I didn’t know what they look like or anything but all the girls in my school love them. I REPEAT, ALL THE GIRLS IN MY SCHOOL. Uh-huh, you heard me right! Even Jess and Will were in love with them.

Anyway, back to reality. Meg rolled her eyes at me and started applying some more lip gloss. Gosh. “Summer, you should start doing NORMAL STUFF like us.” Meg gestured at her other two girly friends.

Now it’s my turn to roll my eyes. “Um…” I murmured. Jess and Will were standing behind me, with their arms folded.

Meg looked up from her pocket mirror and stared at me. “You know, normal stuff? Like fan girling?” Her friends snickered at my expression. I probably looked annoyed or something.

“And, um, in case you don’t get us, never mind. You’ll never be normal,” Meg teased, poking my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes. “Um, Megan. I’m normal. Just different, okay? So shut up,” I snapped.

Megan looked at me and smirked. “Oh look! Miss Sporty’s getting touchy!” She snickered meanly. “Anyway, you’re not normal! Hello?! One, you don’t fan girl over ONE DIRECTION!” She started screaming. “And two, you’re like so into sports…”

“Um, yeah okay so what? Is there a problem with sports?” I demanded, getting irritated by stupid Meg.

Jess and Will stood beside me and whispered, “Summer, don’t get into a fight with her. You know you can’t win!”

I sighed and brushed past Meg and her friends towards the school. Today’s the last day of school before summer vacation and I’m SO not gonna let Meg affect my mood!

“C’mon c’mon and dance with me baby!” Jess sang.

I looked at her. “What? What song is that?” I smacked my forehead. “Don’t tell me… It’s by 1D, isn’t it?”

Jess nodded sheepishly. I rolled my eyes, causing Will to laugh. “Enough about 1D!” I said. “They’re gonna ruin my summer!”

But of course, I knew my summer was going to be perfect. With or without 1D.
