Summer’s POV

“I can’t believe it. We’re in Hawaii!” I shrieked, smiling at Will and Jess. “I know!!” they screamed. We grinned and burst into another fit of giggles.

That was how we spend the plane ride. Laughing. And sometimes they fan girl. Over you-know-who.

Jess’ parents got free tickets to Hawaii and they invited Will and me along. I know right?! It was like a dream. To me, anyway. I have always been dreaming of going to Hawaii. Summer there was going to be perfect!

It was a 2-week trip and we were overly excited. We were landing soon and it looked so sunny outside.

“Please fasten your seat belts. We are landing soon.”

“Yippee!” we squealed, buckling our seat belts. We haven’t even landed yet but I knew this summer was going to be awesome.

I skipped towards one of the chairs on the beach and dumped my bag full of beach stuff. Taking of my hat and sunglasses, I smiled to myself.

Jess and Will took the chairs beside mine and did the same. We were all looking energetic and crazy.

We spend the next two hours sunbathing and swimming.

“Ice-creams!” I handed them their ice-creams that I bought.

Jess murmured a ‘yum’, causing us to laugh.

“Oh yes, One Direction’s in Germany! For the BAMBI Awards!” Will piped up suddenly, a smug expression on her face.

I groaned. “Seriously, Will? We’re enjoying our holiday! Who cares where 1D is?”

“I do!” Jess said, sticking her tongue out at me.

“Please gimme a break!”

“Fine.”

“Is there any internet connection here?!” Jess moaned, walking around the lobby with her phone. Will was doing the same thing.

I rolled my eyes and pointed at the Reception counter. “Ask them, stupid.” I didn’t care about internet connection! I was here in Hawaii to enjoy my summer.

Leaning against the wall, I closed my eyes and dreamt about what I would do in these two weeks. Plenty of stuff of course!

I lifted my head and looked through the transparent walls of the hotel lobby. I saw five guys wearing hoodies and sunglasses, their head down, entering a back door. I shrugged, who cares?! But they did look very suspicious.

“I give up!” I muttered after waiting for five minutes. I walked over to the counter where Jess and Will are. “Guys.” They turned around to look at me. “I’m going to the room. Be back soon.”

Entering the lift, I felt a little irritated that my best friends care so much about the Internet. Or specifically, Twitter. Yeah yeah, I had a twitter. But I barely use it. What for anyway? Jess and Will, on the other hand, are OBSESSED with Twitter. I’m not kidding. Their on there ALL THE TIME.

“Ow!” I murmured as I banged into someone. I looked up. Oops. It was one of those guys in the hoodie and sunglasses. “Sorry.”

He shook his head and backed into the lift so I could actually enter it. Before that, he was practically standing in front of the door. Which caused me to bang into him.

As I entered the lift, I noticed that we were the only ones in there.

I eyed him suspiciously and he must have noticed because he looked away, wringing his hands. I noticed he had blonde hair. Hmm.

“Um, sorry bout just now,” he said.

I took note of his accent as it was very strong. Nope. I didn’t recognize it. But I think I heard it before…

Shrugging, I shook my head and replied, “’S okay.”

DING! The lift doors opened at level 21. The mysterious guy got out hurriedly.

Left alone in the lift, I felt a bit strange. Who the heck was he? He acted like he was hiding from the paparazzi. Hmm…
