Moonbyul's POV:

My soulmate wrote back... Oh my god YES! I shouted in celebration.

"Moon Byul unnie, open your door!" Shouted my younger sister, Seulgi.

I opened my door to find Seulgi and Yesol holding up a letter.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Your cousins. Krystal and Amber wrote back." Seulgi said, handing me the letter.

"Byul unnie, dinner is ready." Yesol said, shyly hiding behind Seulgi's legs.

"Thank you Yesol, and thank you Seulgi." I smiled.

I went back into my room and changed to a comfy sweater and pants.

Sliding down the stair's broad railing, I smelt curry steaming from the kitchen.

"Eomma! Smells good!" I shouted.

"Thanks sweetie, but your dad is cooking, not me." She said from behind me.

I jumped and whirled around.

"Gosh mom! You frightened me." I gasped

"Your face is worth it." She laughed, while I playfully glared at her.

"Dinner is done!" Shouted Seulgi, as we scurried to the dining table.

We are a family of hamsters. I get that a lot.

Hold on, let me introduce you to my family.

My father is a judge, a famous judge, and though he has a lot of recognition, it also means that people would pay millions to kill him.

My mom is well known doctor in Asia. However, since she married my father, people has been also wanting to kidnap or kill her.

I am Byul Yi, or rather, Moonbyul. My and my sibling's births were not made public, so I supposedly am not in danger. I study in Seoul University, majoring in General Science, and chemistry.

Now, back to the author:

"Byul unnie, why didn't you close the window?" Piped out Yesol.

"Huh? What window?" I asked, puzzled.

The one behind mommy, where the man with the black shirt is sitting." She giggled.

I whipped my head back to see a man pointing an arrow at my mom.

"MOM!" I shrieked and jumped in to block the arrow.

I yelped in pain as something pain hit my shoulder.

I looked down to see a bloody shoulder, and I felt an agonizing pain spread through my body.

I looked up to see my dad striking at the man, while my mom hugged me softly, crying.

"Don't leave me Byul YI!" She mumbled, stroking my hair.

"I... Can't stay... Awake..." I whispered, as my eyelids lost control and closed, sending me into a dreamless sleep that had no pain.

"BYUL YI!!"
