"We are ma-" "Alpha!" One of the Full Moon's guards called. Concern and uncertainty flowed from his features.

Alpha Giacomo continued to stare at Elena for a few more heartbeats, his eyes told her the conversation wasn't over.

"Luna Elisa, uhm, requested you to pick up your phone...immediately" He spoke uneasily, looking at the ground.

"Requested?!" Alpha Giacomo repeated, looking extremely annoyed by the interruption, before a sly smile crossed his face. "Yes, that sounds exactly like something my mate would say" Then he glanced at Elena...with a look difficult to decipher.

"Would you excuse me?" He turned to Alpha Mirko and Gamma Rolando. Although his was a question, he did not wait for a reply as he marched towards the trees with a mobile phone in his hand, followed closely by some guards. Two stayed behind Elena, with their tense posture and aggressive stance.

Elena mentally scoffed at their exaggerated attitude. As if they could do anything against my mate.

"Sooo," Gamma Rolando began, taking a step forward. Mirko stiffened before rolling his eyes.

"How do you find our territory so far?"

Elena glanced questioningly at Mirko before returning her attention to Rolando. "Actually, I haven't seen much, apart from the Medical Center."

His grin grew even more at her neutral reply.

"Oh, that's a shame. Would you like me to show-" "Gamma!" Mirko semi-shouted.

His gaze was murderous, but Rolando seemed unimpressed. He was probably used to that kind of outburst from his Alpha.

"Yes, Alpha?" Amusement danced on his gorgeous face, even though he still had dried blood on his jaw, from the rouges' massacres that happened just before.

That blood was a warning, a reminder. 'Do not forget who you are dealing with and where you are.'

"Leave us. Now." Mirko ordered, his gaze focused only on his mate, who was fidgeting with her little fingers.

"Alright! No need to get so grumpy" Rolando rose his hands, teasing before assuming a frightening stance.

"Just call me back if you need me, Alpha." His mood had changed dramatically as he cast a deadly look at the Full Moon guards. As if he challenged the men to try something.

Feeling protective of them, Elena's wild side surfaced. How did he dare to threaten my pack's members?!

So, she snapped, crossing her arms dramatically, and suggesting that he kept his poor intimidation for himself. That her guards were capable of behaving as the circumstances required.

Black Devil Alpha and Gamma stared at her for a moment. Both completely stunned. Although the Gamma broke out in laughter soon after. "Moon Goddess! What a perfect couple you made here," He exclaimed wiggling his eyebrows.

"I'm sorry if I have offended you, Luna. I'm just doing my job." And with that he left. As per the Full Moon guards, they stood confused but proud of their Alpha's daughter.

As for Miko, well, he had enjoyed the feisty side of his little mate, his future Luna. The way she had silenced his Gamma, who was an intelligent yet vicious werewolf, impressed him... and aroused him beyond imagination.
