It was almost May 30. Just an hour left before your birthday. Somebody, well, somebody named Kris Wu is working hard to turn his condo into a beautiful romantic getaway.

It was to please his gorgeous favorite student-slash-fiancée. He found it fit that only the best should be given to his soul mate-the only word he thought was good enough to describe her. They've been engaged for years and they have only admitted their feelings for each other a while back. True that it is not in his character to be this mushy but for her. For Mae. He would swallow his pride and be the gentleman and be sweet. After all, it is because of her that he found what love is. Even if their love is forbidden and breaking all the rules, him being a teacher and Mae, his student. He still loves her as much as she loves him. Though at times they fight because of his cranky attitude. Old habits die hard.

The professor checked his creation to be sure it was perfect. All the lights in the house were dimmed to give the atmosphere that sexy feel to it. The small square table in his kitchen was covered by a red tablecloth. Pink, red, and white rose petals were scattered on the table, even on the kitchen counters and the coffee table in the living room. Vanilla-scented candles were lit around the house to create a nice smell in the air.

But he made sure the bedroom was extra special. He made sure only the softest sheets were laid out on the bed. The lights were dim and he organized his room so it wasn't the slightest bit messy.

The food was even better. A steaming chicken sprinkled with the right spices and herbs waited in the oven. A small bowl of strawberries and whipped cream was in the fridge for dessert; though he had more than one desert planned. A bottle of the finest champagne was in a bucket of ice which sat on the kitchen table. Everything was absolutely perfect. He even wore a button-up white shirt and denim jeans to look good for her. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"It's open," Kris called while smoothing out his shirt to be rid of any wrinkles. The wooden door slowly opened to reveal you. You were dressed in a cute outfit. You saw him licked his lips at the sight of your outfit. He stretched his arms out towards you and asked, "Saeng il chukha hamnida, Mae."

At that moment, you rushed into his arms. You wrapped your arms around his neck and gave him a peck on the lips. Kris picked you up bridal style and spun around, causing you to giggle with happiness.

"I love you." He whispered in your ears.

"I love you too." You replied, giddy with the feeling he was giving you. He kissed you again before taking you to the kitchen, sat you down on one of the chairs, and pushed the chair in like a gentleman.

"This is so beautiful Kris," you commented, looking around at the gorgeous preparations that he had done just for you. It made you feel more loved than you had ever felt in her life. "I can't believe you did all of this!" The sparkles in your eyes said it all. You surveyed him, as if sensing you were looking at him. He looked up and smiled. One of his rare smiles. The smiles that was only for you. He was so different from before, gone was the cranky, stubborn and snob Kris. When you two are alone, he's so sweet that even you can't believe that it's him.

He chuckled and said, "Well only the best things for the best girl." You blushed at the compliment and gave a small smile. Then he popped the champagne and poured it into two glasses.

"To us," he said, raising his glass.

"To us," You agreed and then clinked your glass with his.

Later on, they finished their midnight dinner, which you savored every bite of. Then, Kris lifted you from your seat-you gave a squeak at his sudden action-and he took you to the living room and set you down on the couch. He went to the fridge, brought out the strawberries, and went back to you. He sat down with you and gave you a quick kiss.
