"Can I ride with you?" I asked one of the paramedics as they put the gurney into the ambulance.
"Are you family of Ms. Blye?" He asked and climbed up into the back of the car.
"Umm. Yes I am." I lied.
"Okay. Come up." I got into the car and took Kensi's hand.
"Will she make it?" I asked.
"Right now, her condition is critical and there isn't much I can do. We have to get to the hospital fast, they can tell you more." he answered.

We arrived to the hospital and Kensi was away immediately, they said she needed surgery right away. I sat in front of the door and looked down. Blood was all over me. My blue t-shirt was red and my jeans were dirty. My hands were shaking and I was thirsty, but I definitely wasn't leaving. Doctor said, that if everything will go well, the surgery will take about four hours.

When I saw Deeks' face I thought he's going to collapse. His body wad shaking and he was sitting on the ground, he was crying and holding her body. I called an ambulance and tried to keep Kens alive and Deeks calm. When I heard the ambulance, we took her upstairs, trying not to move her too much.
"Can I go with them?" Deeks asked. "Of course you can. We will be there in 30 minutes." I said and he left.

"Mr. Blye?" Some doctor asked me.
"What? N..." Then I remembered, that I said I am family member. "Yeah. Marty Blye."
"What is your relation to Ms. Blye?" He asked
"Brother. I'm here brother." I said and got up from the cold floor.
"Well you can go to visit her. She is asleep so please quietly."
I walked into the room. Everything was white, including the bed, where Kens was laying. I took a chair and sat next to her. I took her hand into mine and closed my eyes. I was in a beautiful dream, just me and Kens, on some island with palms and coconuts. Somebody walked into the room.
"Deeks? Are you good?"
