Chapter 14 - Voiceless [EDITED]

Kensi

I really wanted to tell him everything. My feelings to him and the fact, that I can't leave him. But I wasnť able to say anything. I just opened my mouth and tried it. He was watching me and his eyes was filled with tears. I took his t-shirt and pulled him up, so his face was right before mine. 

"Kens." he whispered.

Our faces were getting near each other. I closed eyes and kissed him. I felt butterflies erupt in my stomach. I was putting everything into this kiss and so was he. I never felt this way before. I ran out of oxygen and pulled away slowly.

"Kens." he said. I tried to smile, but I think it looked like some grimace. He put his legs on the bed and hugged me. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep. After a few minutes Deeks said "I love you, Kens." and I smiled. I was really happy so I closed my eyes and let sleep take over me.

I never felt anything like what I felt during the kiss. I really love her and I can't be without her. But she doesn't know one thing. And I am afraid, that if she finds out, she won't speak to me anymore. I shook my head and tried to sleep.

"I love you, Kens." And with that, I was asleep.

Today is a really big day. Kensi is going to leave the hospital and go home. She was there for 3 weeks. I was with her every single day. I took a vacation, so no one was annoying me with work.

"Hi." I said and put my hand around her shoulders. She smiled and hugged me. She still wasn't talking. The doctor said, that it can take weeks, until she can talk again. I hope she gets her voice back soon. During the time she was in hospital, we decided to make 'us' official. We weren't going to tell anyone just yet, but we wanted this to be official.

"Do you want to stay over at my house ?" I asked and looked at her. She handed me her phone with a note saying "Yes." This was our way of communicating. I walked over to my car and opened the door for her, then got in on the driver's side and sped off towards my house.
