~1 year later...~
"...come on, Li, she's loving it!" Jackson whines, playing with their baby, Jiang,
"She'll love it now, but rap it later! I don't want Jiang going to pre-school spitting bars like her dad!" Lihua reasons from the kitchen,
"All right, all right..." Jackson skips his song 'TITANIC' and it goes to 'I Love You 3000 II' instead.
A while later, Lihua finishes cooking her family's dinner and brings it into the dining room. She carefully places the giggling baby into her high chair and pulls up a chair next to Jiang.
As Lihua begins spoon-feeding Jiang, Jackson takes a moment to appreciate his wife.
He thinks back to when they first met at the audition, singing their favourite song. He also remembers the agony he went through, not being able to see her that much when they got through to training. When the debut group was announced, he wanted to run up to her and tell her that it was okay, but even if he did, he wouldn't have been able to cancel out all the things going through her mind.
Just like she explained when they met at the bubble tea café, she wanted to get through so badly, since she felt like her whole family was depending on her. Despite that, she still made a wonderful life for herself and here she was, spoon-feeding his baby. His baby.
"Li?" Jackson says,
"Mm-hm?" Lihua responds, coaxing the food into Jiang's mouth,
"You're the most amazing woman in the world, and I'm so glad that the most amazing woman in the world is mine..."
"Awww Jackson~! What's brought this on?"
"Nah, I was just thinking about how far we've come, but mainly you. So, how's your pursuit of happiness going?"
"Huh, well! I'm living the Y/N life with a stunning husband and a baby anyone could dream of - I literally couldn't be any happier. I think that I always had this happiness inside, it's just that I wasn't in the best position to accept that happiness."
"Well said...if you're happy, then I am too, and that's all that matters."
"Now, eat up! I cooked it just how you like it~"
"Who?"
"Both of you!"
