7. Lullabies And Penalties

Author: Ghost friends I am so unbelievably sorry this is late I haven't been in the greatest mental state. But I'm better now ! So yay!

Jess: does this mean you'll stop being sad ?

Author: probably not... sad is my natural state of being 😂😂

Jess: I know a secret that will unsad you... but I've been sworn to secrecy....

Author: should I be afraid?

Jess: Nah..... anyway.... carry on with the story!!! I'm excited fir this one !

Kageyama woke up to find himself alone on the  bed.
He sat up looked at the time. It was four in the morning. He sat there a second waiting for his brain to wake up more when he heard what sounded like singing.

He got up and walked down to the twins room where he found Hinata sitting in one of the chairs quietly singing a lullaby and holding Kiko who appeared to be wide awake. Kageyama silently stood in the door frame and just watched.

Finally Hinata noticed him standing there.
"You Can come on here ya know." He said.

Kageyama quietly went into the room.
"How long has she been awake?" He asked as he sat against the wall on the floor.

Hinata yawned.
"Almost an hour. Luckily Nikko stayed asleep."

Kageyama stood up.
"Here I'll take her for a while." He said as he reached down to pick Kiko up.

"Huh no it's okay." Hinata said Kageyama could tell that Hinata was fading in and out of sleep by the sound in his voice.

"Dumbass your falling asleep."
Kageyama gently took Kiko form Hinata. And smirked. "I'll make you a bet." he said quietly.

"A bet?" Hinata asked.

"Mhm if I get her to go to sleep you owe me a milk date."

Hinata wasn't exactly sure what he meant by "milk date" but his sleep filled brain couldn't help going to dirty places.
"okay." he agreed.
After a few minutes Kiko fell asleep.
And so did Hinata.

(Author: Hello ! So it 5 in the morning me Jess haven't slept because we are binge watching Date Alive... don't ask. Anyway she saw what I was writing and was like "did Hinata's chaotic energy just keep Kiko from sleeping or what?"  And now I'm fucking dying. Back to the story...sorry lol)

Kageyama woke Hinata up and they finally got to go to sleep.

~The Next Morning 6:00 AM~

Hinata woke up and found himself wrapped in Kageyama's arms. He tried to get up but Kageyama held on to him tighter.

"I have to get up." Hinata mumbled into Kageyama's chest.

"stay asleep."  Kageyama said tiredly.

Hinata rolled his eyes and gave in. He was too tired to fight his way out of Kageyama's arms.
He snuggled himself closer into his chest and fell back asleep.

A couple hours later they were woken up by the sound of someone knocking on their door. They got up and quickly put some clothes on.
They went to the door and answered it. Standing in front of them was Hinata's mom and Miwa.
