Letters Across The River | j.h.s. Short Story

Foreword

Hi all! Welcome to the story and thank you for clicking. If you've read my other non-poetry works you know I like to put a quick introduction.

This one will not give any major details about the story, it's short and sweet and I like it the way it is. I just have a couple things I want to tell you all.

First, this is a short story with an original character. I've read many non-Y/N fanfics where the readers were upset that the author created a named character rather than leaving it at Y/N. In addition, people sometimes got upset if the named character was not Korean. To be clear, I'm not changing my character. You don't have to read it if you don't want to, but I just wanted to create a non-Korean character because I'm not Korean and I want more diverse books.

Second, I love constructive criticism. If you want to comment on every single paragraph, be my guest. I love comments. However, this story is supposed to be enjoyed. So any hateful or rude comments will be deleted as soon as I see them. I won't allow a toxic minority to ruin the experience for the rest of the readers.

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to be rude here, I just want to set some ground rules so that we can all enjoy the experience. If you don't want to read it or don't have anything constructive to tell me, please don't bother reading and wasting your time and mine because I have to delete your comments.

If that hasn't scared you away yet, then I thank you for sticking around. I'm usually pretty nice (in my opinion) but I just wanted to make sure we're all on the same page. With that said, get comfortable and please enjoy my short story. It may seem slow in the beginning but pay attention because that will help you in the later chapters. Thanks for giving my story a chance.
