Zayn, a 24year old lawyer who has never lost a case...
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY CCTV FOOTAGE?!?" Shahid screamed through the phone.
"Mr Khan I really don't know why are you getting upset. Is there something you are hidding? It's only a video of the CCTV of the street the murder has taken place. We will get to know about the murderer through it. If it's not you then there is no need to worry about it." Zayn responded. Shahid cut the phone and called a meeting of his friends and his uncle.
Meeting
"What happened why have you called us here so late?" Cody asked, frustrated.
"They got the footage"
"What footage?"
"The CCTV footage of the murder"
There was a pindrop silence for a few minutes until his uncle, Simon spoke up. "Don't worry the evidence will be removed."
"How?" Jack asked looking scared.
"I will send one of man to do the job. Just relax and keep your mouth shut at the court tomorrow. Is it clear?" Everyone nodded and left the room. As soon as they left, Simon gave the job to one of his bodygaurd.
24th October
"Okay! Now listen to me carefully Zayn, you ain't gonna talk to him at all. You will only fight the case. Remember what is the past stays in the past. AVOID FIGHTS!" Harry reminds Zayn while going to the court room. "Yea Harry I got it, I will ignore him and only do my own work" Zayn responded.
When they entered the courtroom they saw Liam and his train. Zayn could not take his eyes off Liam. He was wearing a black sleak suit, that covered every part of his body. His neck was exposed and his beautiful birthmark was seen. Zayn just wanted to kiss his neck and leave all sorts of love bites. His lips were red due to the cold and his hair was properly quiffed up. And then Liam turned and caught Zayn staring at him. A smirk was evident in his face. Zayn quickly looked away and saw Niall and Harry looking at him with the 'are you fucking serious Zayn?' stare.

"I didn't know that's how you ignore people" Niall teased Zayn after sitting down at their place. Zayn glared at him and that made both of them to shut thier mouth. Liam was sitting right besides him. There was a huge gap in between.
Both the lawyers patiently wait for the Judge to arrive. This wait filled the sexual tension for both.
"Kevin pass me the evidence file" Louis asked as soon as he enters the court and sits on the bench.He goes through the file. "I would like Dr Payne to state his evidence to the court."
"Your honour, the place where the murder has taken place had a CCTV camera in the streets. The camera has captured the whole murder scene. Its there in this pendrive. We will get to know about the culprit through this." Liam explains.
He gives the pendrive to Kevin to present it on the screen. The screen was projected and everyone could see an empty file. Kevin looks towards Liam with confusion. "Dr payne I am sorry but the pendrive you gave me has no files." Kevin spoke up and informed everyone. "That's not possible! We had the evidence yesterday. I have checked it twice! Try again." Liam orders Kevin. Kevin does the same and there is still no files.
"Dr Payne are you taking this case as a joke? It's a murder case!" Zayn stands up and tells Liam.
"Mr Malik, I am sorry to interrupt you but we had the evidence yesterday. It was in the evidence room. Someone has messed with the evidence." Officer Hadid from behind responds.
"Well I think it was yours and Officer Edwards job to keep the evidence safe, isn't it?" Louis says.
"Your honour, we can't keep 24*7 eyes on an evidence. Please give us sometime to present ourselves with some new evidence." Officer Edwards requests the Judge.
"Permission is granted, but I will have to go ahead with the evidence Mr Malik has to state." Louis informs and everybody nods. Liam goes back to his place and Zayn stands up to present his evidence. Thier bodies slightly clash eachother while moving. Zayn inhales Liam's scent and forgets for a minute that he is in the court. He misses this smell.
" I would like to call Mr Simon to come to the witness box and assures that my client and his friends were in his farmhouse while the murder took place." Zayn requests. Simon gets up from his place and goes to stand in the witness box. "So Mr Simon was my client and his friends with you during the murder?" Zayn asks. "Yes they were with me in my farmhouse which approx an 1hr journey from the murder place." Simon tells. Silence is filled in the court except the sound of the court reporter typing the given information.
"Dr Payne do you have something to say against?" Louis asks. Liam nods a no and Louis proceeds with his speech.
"Taking in the evidence from Mr Malik and the absence of Dr Payne's evidence, the court gives one more chance to Dr Payne to present himself in the next hearing thats on 28th October. I hope this time the evidence is safe and sound. The person who has misused the evidence is also in serious trouble. The court is adjourned." Louis ends with that and leaves the courtroom.
Liam turns around to the officers to ask them about the misplacement of the evidence, but he sees that both of them are not there. He cools his anger down and leaves the court.
