Zayn, a 24year old lawyer who has never lost a case...
After that night, Zayn did not meet Liam. He did not even come for work. He wanted to talk to liam for long. Today he knows that he can talk to Liam because today is the court hearing. He promised himself to first be calm and settle a little with Liam and tell him that he wants to talk after the hearing.
He knew that this time Liam has come up with a strong evidence. This time he kept it too secretive that even Harry couldn't find out what was it. They only knew the officers were involved in it.
When they reached the court, he saw Liam going towards his own office. But he noticed something else too. He saw that Eleanor and the officers were behind him. As much as he wants to go in and talk with Liam, he can't. He knew if he went there he would be shooed off that very second. So he thought he will directly talk to him after the hearing.

Zayn and his train were now sitting in the courtroom along with everyone, including the judge waiting for Liam. The door opened wide with so much force that it crashed the wall and made a thud sound. Liam opened it. He mumbled a small apology for the noise and quickly sat down. From the corner of his eye he could see Zayn trying not to smile.
"I hope this is the last time Dr Payne will be late to the court. So going forward, last time we could not get Liam to present his evidence due to its misplacement, this time I hope it safe." Louis says looking at Liam. Liam nods a yes and louis continues. "Good. We will start with the evidence he has to present."
Liam gets up from his place and motions his hands towards the officers who come forward and gives the rod which was sealed in a bag and 'evidence' was stamped on it with red ink. She gives it to Kevin who keeps it in front of the judge table.
"Your honour, the evidence in front of you is the weapon used for the murder. Here are the forensic papers who tells us the dry blood found on one tip of the rod is of the victim, Ms Briana. The other side of the rod has finger prints on them. Which is none other than-" Liam turns around and faces Shahid, who already has a shooked face and completes his speech"-Mr Shahid Khan's fingerprints."
Liam handles the paper to the court reporter who types the important details of the paper and passes it to the judge. The court is silent for a minute or two as Louis goes through the papers.
"Mr Malik if you have anything to say against Dr Payne, please proceed or please share the evidence you have got today." Louis orders.
"My lord, I have nothing to question, only to show my evidence. As today's evidence we have a witness. The witness is a pizza boy, he had delivered the food to Simon's penthouse the time the murder took place and has seen my client and his friends over there. I would like to call him on the witness box to assure it." Zayn says and waits for the pizza boy to make a move. The pizza boy gets up and goes towards the witness box and stands and wait for Zayn to question him. "So Mark, you had delivered some food on the Simon penthouse right? Are the people who you saw present in the court? If yes please point them." Zayn asks. "Yes I had delivered some food on the Simon penthouse and people who I saw are also here, there they are" Mark answers, pointing towards simon and Shahid and his friends.
"My lord, if I have permission can I ask him a question?" Liam asks Louis. Louis just nods gesturing him to go on. Liam goes towards Mark and Zayn steps back giving him some space to question him.
"So you are telling that, you saw all the 5 people in the place? I mean I think at the maximum there might be only two people who will come to pay the bill or recieve the order right? How did you see all? Did you enter the house?" Liam questions calmly one by one.
After the question finishes he sees that a sweatbed is formed on Mark's forehead and he looks nervous. "Ummmm I-I saw all the 5 people b-because I-I wanted water so they allowed me inside and g-gave me a glass of water." Liam smirks noticing his stuttering.
"Well why are you stuttering? Are you lying cause you look nervous too. Did he bribe you to say this?" Liam asks pointing 'he' to Shahid. Mark just nods a no and mumbles that it was his first time in court matters. With that Liam goes back to his seat.
"Moving forward, I request the witness to go back to his seat along with Mr Malik. So, we will be having the final heari-" Louis informs but Liam cuts him and says- "Your honour, I am sorry for the interruption but I have one more evidence. The evidence is not present at the moment because the witness is in the flight coming here. If we are having the final hearing today, I am sure she would be here by 5pm. I request you to please grant us a permission to present it during that time." Liam requests. Before Louis can speak Zayn stands up and objects Liam.
"OBJECTION My lord, I wasn't informed about this evidence. So I have nothing to present in against that. You can't surprise me like that" Zayn reasons. Now both the lawyers are standing and waiting for Louis to speak up. After a few seconds the judge finally spoke-
"Mr Malik, as far as I remember in the first round of evidences, Dr Payne's evidences was misplaced. So in order to cope up with the evidences I think I should give him a chance, like this it will be equal. So moving forward, the next hearing which is the final hearing and I will be passing the judgement and Dr Payne will be giving us his last evidence, will be today 6pm. The court is adjourned." With that Louis hits the hammer and leaves the court not to mention but harry behind him.
Not soon Liam and his train leaves the court. Zayn forgets his things and runs behind Liam. He turns in the corridor and was about to shout his name to grab his attention, but he sees Liam hugging a girl. The girl was hugging Liam tightly was too much for Zayn's liking. His mood swinged from happy to anger. He hates to admit but he is still possessive for Liam. Then realisation hits him, even if this turns out to be miscommunication, the possibility of him loving me still is less. What if he had already moved on? Zayn thinks to himself. This thought makes him sad.
During this whole time Niall, Harry and Louis is behind Zayn seeing everything. Niall and Harry see Liam hugging a girl. Louis sees that Zayn is jealous. "Who is that girl, Liam is hugging?" Harry asks. Louis smirks and thinks that now he should start with his plan so he answers Harry, not to forget, loud enough so that Zayn can hear it too. "Oh she? She is the witness in the case and Liam's date. Liam is dating her from yesterday."
At first Harry and Niall was confused as to which why is he yelling. Then Louis points to Zayn who is backfaced towards them, but they both can sense that Zayn is angry and jealous. They both make a 'o' shaped mouth and understands the whole situation. "They are really dating?" Niall asks whispering to louis. Louis just nods a no and try not to laugh at Zayn's situation. He knew that Zayn would believe everything too quick.
As per the plan, Zayn heard everything. Now he knew that Liam is dating someone who is not him. He thought that there was not point in clearing the miscommunication if there was any. He just went towards his cabin, ignoring Harry and Niall's calls and just went ahead in calling his client, Shahid.
