GOODBYE NASH GRIER.

Chapter 32 oakas second birthday

I woke up and had a shower then I got up Oaka

"Happy birthday darling." I said as I picked her up

"Birfay." Oaka mumbled trying to say birthday.

I fed her then gave her a bath.

It's time for your presents now baby." I said and she clapped.

One by one I helped her open her presents and she got quite a lot of toys and I bought her loads of tortoise things as it's still her favorite animal, she also got clothes and a little pink tutu from my parents which was really cute.

I put Oaka in her room so she could play with her toys and I noticed something wasn't quite right with her, she was looking around the room then she looked down then back up at me and I knew what she was gonna say.

"Daddyy." She mumbled.

"Yes Oaka daddy will be here soon." I lied and she clapped

"Daddyyyy." She clapped happily and I hated myself at that moment for getting her hopes up when Nash wasn't gonna be here and although he did ask me what he should get her for her birthday he hadn't sent anything, that's when the door knocked I opened the door and it was Elizabeth with just hayes.

"Hey come in." I offered and they did.

"Where is she?" Elizabeth asked.

"She's in her room playing with her toys." I told her.

"Oh I'll go and get her." Hayes said and he went off into her room then came back carrying her.

"Here she is." Elizabeth smiled and hayes passed Oaka to her.

"We have gifts for you." She said and Oaka clapped then we sat down and hayes helped Oaka open her gifts while he sat her in his lap and it was so cute.

"Ahhh." Oaka mumbled and she clapped.

"I think she likes them thanks guys." I smiled and they returned it, Oaka looked around again then At me,

"Daddyy." She mumbled.

"Yes darling daddy will be here soon." I lied to her then looked at Elizabeth awkwardly.

"Does she miss him?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said "she misses him a lot."

I felt myself tear up so I looked down.

"It's okay sweetheart." Elizabeth assured me.

"Nash umm got Oaka a present too." Hayes said and Elizabeth looked at him.

"You kept that quiet." Elizabeth said.

"I know he gave it me before he left and he told me to keep it quiet as a surprise." He explained and I half smiled.

Hayes pulled out this wrapped present artistically wrapped by Nash and he handed it Oaka, Nash had deliberately wrapped it loose with not much tape so that she could open it herself.

Oaka opened it and it was a tortoise toy and it was quite big too, it had writing on the 'shell' which said
Oaka Jane Grier on it so he had obviously had it made.

"Ahhh." Oaka clapped "

"Tor tor." She said and hugged it which made me smile.

"That's amazing." I smiled.

"He sent a card too." Hayes said and he handed the card to me.

I opened it and I thought it would have one of Nash's special speeches but it didn't it said.

Happy 2nd birthday I'm sorry I can't be here but I love you so much see you when you grow up

"He must if written it just before he left." I said.

"Yeah he did." Hayes half smiled and I nodded.

Hayes and Elizabeth stayed for a while then they left when jay came at 2pm because they don't like jay At all they say he's over caring which doesn't make sense but I guess it might.

Jay got Oaka a present

"Babe you didn't have to." I told him.

"No I insist." He joked and he opened the present for Oaka and gave it her, it was a story book about a tortoise.

"Aww thank you baby." I said and I kissed his cheek.

"No problem." He smiled, Oaka opened the book then threw it in the floor because like I've said before she doesn't like jay so she won't have anything from him which is actually really smart from a 2 year old.

"Maybe later eh." He said.

All night we didn't really do anything we just watched kids movies with Oaka and she loved them and after she fell asleep I put her too bed and jay left

"I'll see you soon then baby." I said and I kissed his cheek.

"Okay babe bye." He smiled then left.

I had a shower then I got in bed at 10pm.
