Marinette realised that not all her friends were real. Friends are supposed to stay by your side, trust you and support you. But only 6 people in her class stuck by her side.
Adrien, Nino, Nathaniel, Juleka, Kim
and Chloe. Everyone else decides to believe in Lila's lies although Rose and Alix didn't choose sides. Surprisingly Chloe has become much nicer and Marinette and Adrien have become much closer even though Lila's plan was to get them to become further apart.
Time skip....
It has know been 5 months since this whole Lila vs Marinette situation. It has started 5o get out of hand. Lila cooks up lies on the spot and even if she stutters - which clearly point out that she is lying-people still tend to believe her. That was the day when Marinette had made the decision that she wouldn't rest until Lila's lies are exposed. At least she wasn't alone she had the team to help her.
