Chapter 2

After school I put my bag in my locker and went to the woods near the school. I love going there it's so clam. I go to a little clearing there. It's so beautiful, there's a little lake and it's just amazing. I all ways come here to be alone, which is a lot. I sit near the edge of the lake and start to think.

Why do people hate me?

Is it because I'm different ?

Why don't they just leave me alone?
I sigh and walk over to a tall tree and start to climb it. I love claiming trees, no one ever knows your there. I climbed the tree until I know no one would see me if the walked up, even through no one comes here. I sat there and started to sing one of my favourite A day to remember songs

I stopped realizing someone else was here and just sang the last two lines with me. They were really good to from what I could hear. Then I heard a twig snap. I know about this place but no one else knows about this place......but one boy does,

Jayden

He didn't see me. This isn't the first time its happened . He starts looking around. Please don't look up, I keep repeating in my head. He starts to walk away. That was close. I wait a while until I'm sure he's gone.

I climb down and......

A twig that was underneath me broke. A second later I hear someone running. Jayden. I ran as fast as I can but I'm not very fast. I ran, he can't see it was me there! I through. Then I start to see the street and use as much energy as I can to run fast to reach the edge of the woods. I stop for a second to see if I lost him but no.

God he runs fast.

I run to a group I people I see then hide round a corner and wait.
This time I had lost him.

I start to make my way home

That was close, I through
I sighed as I entered my house and run up the stair to my room
I checked my phone. I had one missed call and several texts.

Damn, I never told Hayley I was going to the woods

I called her, hopping she wasn't going to kill me.

'So you just leave me and don't tell me your doing something or going somewhere.'

'Im sorry, I just needed to be alone and think.'

'Its ok just....tell me next time' she sighed

'Guess who was there tho'

'Jayden. It was Jayden wasn't it.'

'Yeah. I was singing If it means a lot to you and Jayden came out of no were and sang a bit with me'

'OMG did he see you this time? Did he realize it was you. My god Van-' 

' no of corse not i was in the trees'  I hate singing in front of people. I get scared so hardly anyone knows I can.

'Of course Im friends with a monkey.'
We both started to laugh. She always said that I was a monkey because I love climbing on to trees and just sit on it's branches. It's peaceful.
' well it's good he didn't see that you were the one singing I guess'

' yeah I can't sing, no one want to hear me sing. They'll just make fun because I want to sing'

'Don't say,that you can sing and you know it' she argued

'Sure' I just say that to drop the subject, she all ways says that. I know I can't sing why does she try say other wise.

'Well I have to go bye Van'

'Bye Hayley'
I hang up and throw my phone on to my bed and grab my iPod. I go on my balcony and climb on it to climb onto the roof. It's fun siting on the roof. I start listening to ADTR, FIR,PTV SWS and so on.

I start to think,

How am I going to do this story?

All I've ever done is write about blood, guts and gore. How am I going to write about love.

I've never had a boyfriend even through I'm 17.

I don't even know what love is.

This is going to be hard........
