Draco's POV:
As school grew closer, I began to feel her happiness a lot. I should be the one making her happy, not Potter.
What if she's moved on? What if she's with potter? What if she realized that I'm no good for her? I kept asking myself those questions.
I wrote her a letter and got an owl to deliver it. I hadn't wrote anything to her at all. I thought she was dead.
Amelia's POV:
I had received a letter, from The Malfoy Manor. My heart raced with happiness. He finally wrote to me.
Dear Amelia,
I'm sorry for not writing you sooner. I just, have been dealing with something.
Me and Sadie thought you were dead. When i received your letter from Dumbledore, I ran into Sadie. She freaked out because I had your necklace. Apparently you never take it off. She thought you killed yourself.
I couldn't feel you anymore. I spent 3 months thinking you, the only person in the world that I love and care about, was dead. The worst part, was that I thought it was my fault. Since I ran off.
Anyways, I feel how happy Potter makes you. If me not being there is what makes you happy, then I'll stay away.Love, Draco
As I read the last few words, I began to cry. I'm not happy with him. Well, I am, but not near as happy as I was with Draco.

3 months laterI was sitting at platform 9 3/4 waiting for Draco. I was so ready to see him. I had to tell him how I felt.
Over the summer, me and Harry became best friends. Nothing more.
Harry walked over. "Are you excited to see him?" He asked. I smiled. "Yes." Even though the two never got along he was still happy for me.
He gave me a kiss on the forehead and then grabbed my hand.
After a few minutes, a boy with platinum blonde hair walked in. He stared in shock for what seems like forever.
I watched as his face fell and tears swelled up. I couldn't help myself. I ran over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"It's ok Draco. I'm here. I'm alive. Please don't cry." I whispered to him.
"Your alive." He whispered back. "Yes. Yes I'm alive."
He buried his head in my neck and I felt his breathing on me. I turned around and Harry was smiling.
Draco's POV:
I smelled her just to make sure she was real and that I wasn't hallucinating.
"Princess." I whispered. "I love you Draco. I love you more then I can even tell you."
Amelia's POV:
"It's time." Draco's mom said. I didn't even realize she was here.
Neither of them hugged or even said bye to him.
I thanked the Weasleys for everything and then ran through the platform with Draco.
-
After we boarded the train, me Draco, Crabbe, and goyle sat in the back. Harry opened our compartment. Draco's eyes flashed to him with anger. "Draco it's ok." I whispered. "Can I talk to you." Harry asked.
I nodded and followed him out. We stopped at an empty compartment and he pulled me in. "Look, I know you love Draco and all, but please don't just leave me."he said.
"Leave you? Harry you made me smile when I thought I would never be happy again, I won't just drop you." I said.
He smiled. "Thank you. You should go catch up with him."
I walked back to our compartment and sat down. Draco was tense. "Hey don't worry." I said and put my hand on his cheek.
He began to kiss me. I missed his lips so much. He put his hand on my thigh pulling me closer. "Ok we should go." Crabbe said and they both left.
I felt him smile. "I love you Draco Malfoy." I said between kisses. "I love you too princess." He pulled me on top of him. I laid my head in his chest as he rubbed my back.
It began to get colder.
The train stopped and the lights went out. At this point, I could see my breath. "Draco?!" I was scared. He put his fingers to my lips. He had a serious look. I buried myself into him.
I heard mumbling from other compartment and a few screams.
We sat there for awhile. Nothing happened.
-
Eventually the lights came back on and we started to move again.
"Harry!" I heard hermione yell with panic. I shot up. "What's wrong?" Draco asked.
"I'll be back. Maybe." I ran to their compartment and saw Harry laid over in his seat. "What happened?!" I yelled as I entered.
"A dementor. Don't worry. He will wake in a few minutes." A man sitting next to him said.
I sat in front of him staring at his face. My fingers ran through his messy hair trying to comfort him.
-
It took a little while but eventually he groaned.
"Harry!" I yelled. His eyes fluttered open and stared back at mine. "Amelia." He whispered as he began to sit up.
I sat next to him and he wrapped his hands around mine and laid his head on my shoulder closing his eyes again. I leaned my head on top of his and use my lose arm to grab his hand.
"Here eat this. It will help, I promise." The odd man said and handed him chocolate.
Harry took it and ate it. "Well I should go check on some other people." He said and left.
"Harry are you ok?" I asked. "I'm fine. Just tired." He yawned and nudged his head into me more.
"Hermione can you go tell Draco I might not be back for a little while?" I asked.
"I guess, but if he yells at me I'll yell back." She said.
"You don't have to do that. You can leave. I'm totally fine." He said and let go of me.
"Harry, I'm staying." I stared straight into his eyes.
He sighed and eventually gave in. He laid his head back on my shoulder and I traced the lines in his palm trying to calm him. He was pretty tense.
He wasn't going to admit it, but he was scared. What ever that thing was really got to him.
-
Hermione came back. "He's not very happy." She plopped down next to Ron.
"I'll make it up to him later." I sighed.
She stared intensely at Harry sleeping on my shoulder.
"He really likes you. He never would do anything like that with one of us. Your his best friend." Her face was no calm.
"I like him too. He helped me through a lot." I smiled. We would never be anymore then friends. It just never made any sense.
