Draco Malfoy was now 18 and every time someone touched him he felt a burning sensation on the spot.

That never happened before he turned 18 Draco thought to him self countless times.

At this point of his life Draco had read all the books on the Malfoy Manor but not the ones that he wasn't allowed to. Once in his life he had tried to read a book from the restricted section on the Manor, which contained 20 books more or less, but his father caught him and he was shot with the crusiatus curse.

That was the first time his father had ever shot him with the curse and he was only 6, I wish I could say that this was the only time that had happened but that would be a lie.

Now that Draco was 18, and that man he used to call father was at Azkaban and would take the Dementor's kiss any day now, he could research for the reason for that burning sensation in any book, forbidden or not.

Countless days passed with Draco bent over a book until he found his solution.

The soulmate detector.

Harry and his friends never really hugged or had any physical contact at this point of their lives. So when Harry tuned 18 he had no idea about the existence of the detector.

He first experienced it when Tom Riddle, known as Voldemort, and him had fell off the Hogwarts castle. At first he thought that it could be because of the dark magic or even from the piece of Voldemort's soul inside Harry.

But even when the war was over and Harry's friends patted his back to celebrate he still felt his flench burning up.

As he was walking on the remaining floors of Hogwarts he found on the ground a rather interesting book, which with McGonagall's permission, he took and it so happened to be the one book that explained the soulmate detector.

The book clearly explained that whoever the person who carries the detector touch, he will fell an unpleasant burning felling and could even leave a burn mark if the person who's holding you refuse to let go of you.

By the time Harry had finished the whole book his letter for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had came in announcing that he should return for the final year among with the rest of the students that lost their final year of education.
